Description

Live like a local on a day filled with 2 of the country's most important traditions—paella and flamenco. Enjoy great conversation as you dine on a selection of authentic creations while looking out over stunning Alicante harbour, and then head into the historic district for a spirited performance of Spain's national dance.

Your day begins with lunch at Restaurante Dársena, located in the Alicante harbour. Indulge in the tastes of the centuries-old city with a mouth-watering selection of variety of styles of paella: Vegetables paella, Peppers, lean pork and chickpeas paella or Baby squid and young garlic paella. Bond with your attendant as you dig into the shareable dishes, washing them down with your choice of wine, beer or soft drink.

In the evening, head into the city centre to Tablao Flamenco San Jose, a traditional tablao where live flamenco performances take place every night. Settle into your seat to marvel as dancers clad in sleek black suits and red ruffled dresses stomp their feet and clap their hands to the energetic sounds of the guitar. Revel in the magical rhythm of the beat and the sensual dance moves that date back to the 1700s.

Sample menu includes your choice of: Variety of starters. Vegetables paella. Peppers, lean pork and chickpeas paella. Baby squid and young garlic paella. Meat or Fish. Selection of desserts
