"My adult son and me stayed at the hotel for two days early in June. The area looked nice and safe, the room was spacious and clean, the breakfast (cereals, oatmeal, milk, coffee, and orange juice) was suitable for us and pretty good for the price. We did not need air conditioning, so we did not even try to turn it on, but we opened the window to let fresh air in; we both really liked it. One of the best things is that check in starts at 10:00 am; it was just great! The parking is large; if you need public transportation, there are at least two bus stops just next to the hotel. I wish there was a coffee or tea pot in the room and a hair dryer in the bathroom, but I understand it might be too much for the price we paid. However, a couple of hooks for clothes or towels in the bathroom could be affordable for the business and helpful for the customers. There is no elevator, which may not even be necessary for the two story building, especially if your luggage is not heavy. The front desk receptionist (or manager) kindly offered to help us with the luggage. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the Heart O’Chicago Motel, and if we take another trip to Chicago, we’ll most likely stay there again."

They state that this deposit will be refunded within 5–7 days after departure, provided before access to the property is granted. This arrangement raises concerns about legitimacy. It is advisable to avoid booking this location."

"We’re not a high maintenance family however this place has a lot of very filthy areas. The ceiling fans had years of dust hanging over the sides, the windows are full of dirt and cobwebs (my kids were afraid to sleep at night for fear of bugs entering through the windows), the bathroom vanities are broken and have some rot, the bathroom exhaust fan had a thick layer of dust, the basement stairs carpet felt damp and was very dirty, the furniture is old and sagging and has wet stains. Yes, the place was picked up and is a great location to Wrigley but we wouldn’t stay here again. I did reach out to the owner and he apologized and offered to send someone to address the issues, however, we were only there 2.5 days and the issues that needed addressed weren’t a quick fix, he needs to spend some time to deep clean and make appropriate upgrades. Also, we really didn’t want a stranger there with our family, so we declined that offer."

"The location is perfect, ideal for party and celebration in bar and getting to know Boystown. The bathroom area and bed very clean and comfortable. *Uncover the closets in the room for convenience of storing suitcases and travel items. ——————————————————————— La ubicación es perfecta, ideal para pasar días de fiesta y de conocer boystown. El área de baños y cama muy limpias y cómodas. "Hosted my friends for my Bachelor Party here. Was able to comfortably sleep 15 guys and had plenty of room for everyone to hang around. Best location to ask for if you are looking to go to cubs games, bars, restaurants with a large group. Had a great time and glad we were able to stay here."
