Where do I start? I read that if we needed a later check in to let hotel know, I called them several times but they didn’t pick up, so I messaged them to say we had a later flight, Id did this 3 weeks before we due arrive, 2 weeks before 3 days before and the when we arrived at the airport we were delayed so I messaged them again to tell them be around 11.30 pm
I’d also spoke to Expedia 2 weeks before as I thought I’d booked a balcony room (as that’s what showed on the booking photos) and I asked them to also let the hotel know We’d be late, when they said they would call to check on the room,
But we arrival we were told no your room isn’t available as your to late for check in so it’s gone as a noshow,
We asked if we could have our rooms later he said no your a no show, this went on for 10 mins, I told him I’d messaged them several times, and I’d spoke to Expedia to tell them he was having none of it, My husband asked for our money back he said no you need to ask who you booked with.
so I messaged Expedia (as there was no number to call) they were amazing rang the hotel straight away, they were on the phone to the hotel for 10 mins, hotel man kept saying no to late no show, but Expedia wouldn’t let them not and then we got handed our room key all pre wrote out, so our room wasn’t gone,
Well we got into it around 1.30am it was awful room 103, smelt awful like a hostel room, no balcony we were gutted, Had to pay €66 for balcony room, 603 a bit better, Breakfast is bad
