“Could not fault the welcome, hospitality, room, comfort and the food (breakfast and dinner) were fantastic, using their own produce! Lorna and Andy couldn't do enough for us and as it was cold and rainy, we had the luxury of a log burner, tea & coffee and cake in the lounge every evening when we arrived home. Good advice given about where to eat in the evenings. Well situated for most of Northumberland's main attractions. Take home some of their own produce as well. We felt thoroughly spoilt and...

“Damp, musty smell in hallway. Our curtains were falling off the rails, and washbasin taps were very difficult to turn. Heating not adequate and towels not changed daily automatically. Helpful host and hostess with perfect delicious breakfast. ”

“the hotel needs updating, the rooms were ok but require a little bit of tidying up, paint finger prints on inside bathroom door, cracked tile in bathroom, paint and finishing on walls needs addressing. indian meal amazing, breakfast ok. there needs to be someone in the check in area / bar at all times, i think it loses a lot of trade with there being no one there to greet public. all in all i would give hotel 5/10 indian meal 10/10 kev Lake Leicester”
