“Host Colin made us feel welcome straight away and was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Guest rooms have everything you'd need for a short break, The rate included a lovely freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of choices and a homemade granola and berry compote to start with, fresh pots of coffee and toast. The House is a short 15-minute drive to a number of small towns nearby with pubs and restaurants. ”

“Beautiful property. Sheep, fruit, and vegetable farms all around. Staff super nice. Had the ability to grill our own food and have a fire to sit around and enjoy the beautiful weather we had way into the night. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. Play area for the kids. This is by far our favorite place so far on our two week trip around the UK. ”

“Die kleinen Hütten sind sehr schön ruhig gelegen mit einer Herde Schafe als Nachbarn. Es war alles wie beschrieben. Für unseren kurzen Aufenthalt zu zweit war alles nötige vorhanden. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern hat super funktioniert.”

“We loved our stay at Annfield! The serenity! It was quiet and peaceful, the cottage is huge! Very comfortable. There is a paddock next door with sheep that kept our children entertained for hours. The owner is easily contactable. It’s a bit hard to find so better instructions on locating the place would be helpful..and a hair dryer would be handy but other than that only positive things to say!”

“This place was a palace. Very posh. It had a full, formal dining room (not that we used it) spacious bedrooms and a quiet parlor separated from the kitchen and bedrooms. There was just one bathroom, but that didn’t bother us. ”

“I booked a Deluxe apartment. I didnt realise it would be seperate to the hotel. We were disappointed with the bathroom as we were expecting a bit of luxury at the price per night. Instead we had bathroom suitable for disabled access. One of the reclining chairs had bare wires hanging out. There were 3 of us but only towels for 2 people. The sofa bed had not been made up but when we reported this to reception someone did come and make it up. On booking it said robes were provided, no robes on...

Lovely experience.
"Beautiful hotel. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Perfect to visit Inverness, you reach it easily from Stirling/Edinburgh. The owner is really kind, she helped us a lot. There's an Italian restaurant there, I didn't try it but by looking at the menu, I'm sure it is amazing."
