This was a pleasant surprise and I’d stay here again. The place is a bit dated, but well kept. Daphne, who checked us in, was friendly and professional. She popped right over to our room when we were having issues with the remote. Ultimately got the maintenance guy there who had to program the remote.
The room was clean, basic but had everything we needed. Bed & pillows were comfy. Towels are a bit skimpy, but clean and did the job. Loved the courtyard where there was shade from the trees, tables, Adirondack chairs, old grill and a weathered cornhole game (that was fun).
It is on a noisy street, but did not interfere with sleep - least not until a guest started their very loud truck at 5:45am and let it idle for 8 minutes right near our door! That aside, an affordable, nice place. If a single woman is traveling, would ask for a 2nd floor room as all doors open toward the street.
