Casa veramente carina con grandi finestre con vista. Il proprietario Roy veramente super gentile e cordiale, è stato flessibile sull’orario del check-in. La struttura perfetta per 4 persone in cerca di un alloggio ad amsterdam, la posizione della casa è ottima a 10 minuti dalla stazione centrale con tutto a portata di mano. Consiglio a chiunque.

Great landing spot for Amsterdam
This was the perfect place to lay our heads for our time in Amsterdam. Very close to many different attractions and plenty of restaurants and cafes. Roy was so accommodating and welcoming. We only stayed two days, but it made it easy to see the city in our short time here. Would recommend to anyone. The apartment is two bedrooms, a shower, a toilet and a kitchenette. Plus the owner has a beautiful dog that he will introduce you to :) Thanks again Roy! You are a great asset to any traveler. Cheers!

Great place for a couple or 2 to enjoy Amsterdam.
This property is in the perfect location if you are wanting to be in walking distance to the hussle and bussle of Amsterdam! But it is designed for people to get out and enjoy, not hang at the room. 2 bedrooms and a bathroom is what you have, no television. This is exactly what we came to Amsterdam for, so it was perfect for my husband and I. The host is very accommodating. Answering any questions we had, offering places to go, help if we got lost, and even helped with ordering a taxi for us on our last day.

Roy was an excellent host who takes care of his visitors. Excellent and responsive communicator. Good view from the bedroom windows. Comfortable beds with soft mattresses. Adequate kitchen facilities with convection microwave oven although a longer kitchen knife would be more useful. Umbrellas provided came in handy. A flight of stairs to climb to get to the accommodation. Overall experience was excellent.

Just what we were looking for
If you’re looking for an efficient launch pad right in the middle of the city, then this is the place for you! Roy is friendly and promptly responsive, like a city guide. He went out of his way to let us check in early. The location is wonderful, with a view of a major canal, a short walk to trains, downtown, and interesting neighborhoods. It’s close to the action but not right in it, so it was not noisy for sleeping. It has all the essentials you would need, and allows you to see a ton of the city with very little in your way. Would stay here again!

Sehr gute Lage
Die Unterkunft ist super gelegen, fußläufig zum Central Bahnhof und zur wunderschönen Innenstadt mit Blick aufs Wasser. Unser Gastgeber Roy war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Er gab uns tolle Tipps, wo man super und bezahlbar essen kann. Kaffee, Tee und Frühstücksgeschirr sowie leckere Bonbons waren vorhanden. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt. Property has great view of water and fairly close to everthing. Amsterdam is a walking & bicycling city, but Metro is easy too...no tickets, just tap card and go.

Perfect
We had a wonderful stay in this appartment, ideally located close from the Central Station and the city center. The appartment is even better than it looks on the pictures. It immaculately clean when we arrived. Its immediate neighboorhood is calm and charming, and even if there is a little bit of noise due to the proximity of the appartment to the road, it is less crowded than most places in the center. We enjoyed the nice view on the bay from both bedrooms. The beds are comfortable and all furniture and appliance is in good state. The WiFi works well ; Having two keyrings was appreciated. The hosts are sympathethic ; They gave us all the required information and were available on WhatsApp to answer our questions. I can only recommand you this appartment for a stay in Amsterdam with your family or friends !

Not up to VRBO Standards
I have stayed in MANY VRBO apartments in Europe and United States, and this one was the worst I have ever seen. In fact we only stayed one night and had to leave for a hotel in Amsterdam which was costly - $700.00. The place was not really clean and seemed to be thrown together with not much care, from a larger room. The toilet and shower were in different rooms. There was NO kitchen of any sort and nowhere to sit together - chair in the bedrooms. The extra toilet paper was stored in a red, iron, Dutch Oven which is used to cook on a stove or in the oven. The windows were really high and we needed a long stick (provided) to close a blind but it did not stay down. There was a long stairway to get to the property which was covered in carpet that was dirty. We were shown the stair light at the bottom but did not see a light switch at the top. I had to make my way down in absolute darkness. Very dangerous for me. Later, after searching for a stair light at the top of the stairs, I found it across the landing not anywhere near the stairs. Further, the three keys needed to enter did not really work well. We not only had trouble getting IN but more trouble getting OUT. Again, very dangerous. I did not see any fire or CO2 monitors. Finally, there was a door at the end of the hallway in our property and we were told that it was locked and that someone else lived on the other side. We felt very insecure and unsafe. I can send photos as may be necessary. Again, this property is NOT up to VRBO standard and I would like a refund for two days when we had to leave for our own security. I am 74, travel a lot and use a walker. I was not satisfied in the least!!

Perfect for us!
It is a very small property with basically only 2 bedrooms and a bath, but it was perfect for my son and I. The location was an easy walk to everything we wanted to see. If you have a car, make sure to park in the public garage across the water or it will be very expensive!

Perfect for a weekend
He was so friendly and helpful! Very generous leaving us some beer and wine in the fridge to welcome us and snacks for when we returned. Perfect location to walk to many destinations, right next to red light district. Awesome view over the pier!

Excellent location and host
Our stay was great. The location couldn't have been better. Roy was very nice and fast responses. We loved the welcoming beer and snacks! The pictures are accurate but we would say that having the shared entry (even though we never saw Roy after check-in) didn't make it seem like the "entire place". However, once we were used to it - it was fine. Roy would check in with us by text which was very nice. The exterior door proved to be a challenge for us with the key -- but we always eventually got in. Overall we loved our time in Amsterdam and we could walk anywhere from Roy's flat. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Will not come back
We stayed for a few days on September and we all agreed that we won't come back to stay at this place. The house is on 3rd floor (lot of stairs) and has NO WINDOWS!! unfortunately, we found the host poking in the fridge with our stuff... We don't say anything was stolen, but we from this moment we felt unsafe and no privacy.... The house is 10 minutes walk from the central station, but there is nothing around the house. The host bring us some snacks in the check in, that was very nice. We got 1 towel for person for was used for our entire stay no clean towels...

Hi Bar Gura, i hope you placed the right review at my profile. it will happen that i or stuff or take some from the central fridge, always with good intentions. you mention there is nothing around the house, 99.99% of my guests and i feel the opposite since you hardly can get more downtown then my place. Also my house is located on the 1st floor of the building (2 medium stairs to overwin) and the windows are huge with amazing view as i announce in my headline of my advertisement. 1 towel a person is standard for a 2 or 3 day stay but as i let all my guests know if there is something not ok or happening, please let me know directly and will try to fixed it. So pitty to hear about the not feeling comfort and towel story. Would wished you shared with me your feeling so i could help you guys out, i did not hear anything till i saw your review. But no hard feelings since life is good and it continues. even with a 3 star reward :). Roy

Great location and comfortable rooms
Had a great few nights stay at Roy’s with the wife and another couple. The location is just right,away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to stagger back from. The views over the bay are nice and you have all you need for a few nights. Never saw a lot of Roy as he went away for a few days but he met us on arrival and departure and made us feel very welcome and said to call him with any problems but we never needed his offer. Thanks for the use of the apartment,highly recommend. Mark - England.

The apartment was clean and very centrally located. Pretty good deal for what you get. The owner was late to check in. Also the owner lives in the back of the apartment and there is a shared entrance that he uses so he is coming in and out of the space. Overall a good experience.

Alles wirklich toll und unkompliziert.
Wir waren für ein Kurztrip in Amsterdam und die Wohnung liegt im Zentrum unweit vom Bahnhof. Wirklich Ideal um Amsterdam zu entdecken. Es war sehr gemütlich und sauber, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Vielen Dank an Roy. Wir würden immer wieder kommen.

Sauber, zentral, netter Vermieter
Der vermietete Bereich ist ein Teil der Wohnung des Vermieters, die Abtrennung ist aber gut gelöst. Toilette, Bad, beide Zimmer waren sehr sauber und ordentlich. Wenn man zu viert kommt, sollte man sich gut kennen, da jeweils zu zweit in einem Bett geschlafen wird. Kochen ist nicht möglich, Mikrowelle aber vorhanden. Der Weg zu Bahnhof und Zentrum ist nicht weit. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Gerne wieder.

Wonderful place close to attractions and Centraal Station
We had a very pleasant stay here. The property was very clean. Roy was more than accompdating, especially when our taxi driver dropped us off at the wrong location. He even tried to get us a free ride back to the airport!! The property is in a great location to restaurants, the red light districy, shops, and Centraal Station. We will definitely stay here again!
