The owner of the hotel worked alongside our interior designer, Mr. Stef Van Der Bijl, to create this hidden gem in the heart of Amsterdam and welcome guest into the world of the Dutch Golden Age. As you mentioned previously, each and every room of our hotel is completely different to one-another and invites guest to gain insight on the histories of each Noblemen represented. Today, our 17th century building has become a historical monument, which unfortunately does not permit us to have an elevator and which we understand may be difficult for certain guests.Nevertheless, we are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay in the Hooft room and we would love to welcome you back in our hotel soon, maybe this time in a different room !
