The hotel is old but the biggest issue was that we were given a room below street level making it really hot moreover the window couldn’t be opened…we will not recommend this hotel!!!!!!

excellent position and breakfast
excellent breakfast, room 21 renovated,large bed, , gratuities like coffee, thè, soft drink, bathroom not comfortable , micro washbasin unable to wash your face ithout asing you all up,impossiblility to put your toothbrush, shaving cream, razor, and other necessary items over the wash basin then you have to leave those items on the table in the room going back and from bathroom to bedroom,personnel efficient ,kind and very professionale. Via tram 4 to the station or walking to shopping and restaurant area and to museums.

Hotel in posizione strategica
Hotel ubicato in zona centrale che permette di avere tutto nelle vicinanze. Personale molto gentile e servizievole. Pulizia delle stanza sotto la media , bagno cieco senza ventola di aspirazione che da direttamente sulla camera. Non è presente l'ascensore in caso di famiglie con bambini e relativi passeggini lo sconsiglio vivamente. Personalmente ritengo che si possa trovare un hotel che abbia uno standard igienico migliore. Qualità prezzo non adeguata .

Tutto perfetto
Hotel nuovo, molto pulito situato in una zona tranquilla e graziosa a pochi minuti dal Rijks Museum. Camera pulita e ben arredata,colazione a buffet ricca e varia. Possibilità di noleggiare bici in loco. Lo consiglio vivamente, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

nice hotel in good location close to tram and 10-15 minutes walking to the city centre. good for the exhibition centre. room are nice and spacious and staff very friendy, only cleaning of the room shall be improved

The location of the hotel was good, close to metro and tram. The personnel was friendly and helpful, the breakfast offer was small but sufficient. The hotel recommendations for restaurants were great and helped us find great places to eat.

We loved the spacious room with a nice hot shower and comfy bed. However, it was very hot for our stay there and there was no AC. Luckily, there was an old tower unit in the room that we were able to rig so we could stay comfortable. Otherwise, it would've been long noisy nights since the suites are situated on the street instead of the canal. We did appreciate the unlimited free drinks and now that they are installing AC, we will stay here again. They are a distance from the attractions, but easily walkable and plenty of nearby transportation options.

The only thing that could be improved was in room 1, the bathroom glass wall needed a lot more frosting to provide privacy while in use.

We’re were upgraded to the suite which was lovely at first. Perhaps staffing wasn’t at full capacity. That being said our room was filthy. Garbage bag dripped throughout the suite and was never cleaned up. Toilet was dirty. Air and heat unit not working properly and it was very warm and stuffy. The only housekeeping was done was fluffing the pillows. We were ready to leave.

We were in a great location. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and museums. Staff friendly, happy hour was fine. We didn’t mind our room was on the 3rd floor because we had a great view. Our only issue was the hot water in the shower did not operate well.

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights. Our reason for staying was to visit the tulips at Keukenhof. The property is welcoming from the outside and the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property is having work done but only to improve it and we weren’t disrupted by it. The room we stayed in was on the 3rd floor and there is no lift but the view of the canal was lovely. Our room was clean but a bit knocked around. Various damage to furniture and the wallpaper was coming off which had been temporarily repaired with sellotape. The bedside shelf had clearly been ripped off at some point and where it was had been temporarily repaired with a piece of paper. Our shower only seemed to run very hot and the “rain” effect head was clogged with limescale so it shot out all over the place. The bathroom door/wall was all glass, the main door was frosted but the glass either side was frosted and clear so you could still see in. I would stay here again as it was in a great location, staff were super friendly.

Unfortunately we had to cut our stay here short due to finding and being bitten by bed bugs. The staff were incredibly helpful and professional, offering a refund as they had no other rooms available to swap us to. The location was great and the room itself was nice. Although, the glass bathroom doors do not offer any real privacy, so might not be for everyone.

This was an excellent location. Close to the tram system but quiet and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the drinks served in the afternoon. The bed was very comfortable and the, shower was great. Only concern was the steps as I struggle but they placed me on the first floor but a spiral staircase was difficult for me. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Thanks 😊

Loved the layout and decor of the room and the hotel facilities. Very pleasant staff and relaxed atmosphere throughout our stay. Nicely located just outside of the main town, great transport links but also within walking distance of all activities. Had a great stay and would definitely see us giving the hotel a second try next time we visit Amsterdam. **Our only thumbs down 👎 is something outside of the hotel’s control and that is the noise from other guests. We were disturbed each night by the noise from the adjoining rooms and in particular our final night. Whilst appreciating other people have different views on what is being considerate making a series of phone calls (on speaker phone) between 1 and 2 am I would say there lacks some manners from some people and very little consideration that the majority of other guests may well be trying to sleep. Maybe some signage in communal areas / on inside / outside of hotel doors reminding guests to bear in mind other people may be nearby would be of benefit.** Apart from the above I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

la chambre 106 avec une vue sur le canal était propre. la baignoire est mal entretenue et mal adaptée. Après réclamation, j'ai eu un petit-déjeuner gratuit en compensation, mais le problème n'a pas été résolu! l'escalier est très étroit.

El hotel está perfectamente ubicado. En una zona tranquila pero cercana a todo. Hemos recorrido la ciudad a pie perfectamente desde allí. La única desventaja es que no cuenta con ascensor lo cual fue un problema ya que viajamos con muchas maletas. El personal es muy amable. Las habitaciones eran pequeñas pero acogedoras.

Incredibly good location, close enough to town but far enough away from the chaos. Only criticism is that the stairs are narrow and steep - meaning you feel every kg in your suitcase. Worth it though. The happy hour downstairs everyday was a great extra touch and a good way to wind down. Id recommend this hotel to anyone going to Amsterdam
