Wonderful hotel in excellent zone
The hotel is very nice: charming room (suites are very comfortable), perfect cleaning and beautiful sofa and living area, where to have a drink in front a fireplace. Breakfast could be better, as it is not so rich as a customer expects from an hotel like this.

hotel perfetto vicino al centro città
che dire... tre giorni ad Amsterdam perfetti! hotel bellissimo vicino al centro. forse disturba un po' che appena ti siedi ti bloccano sulla carta di credito un importo non bassissimo per eventuali danni però è un hotel di lusso e fa parte del sistema. Peccato per la stanza vista interno e non sul canale ma credo sia dipeso dalla tipologia prenotata. Sicuramente da consigliare. Non abbiamo usufruito né del ristorante né della colazione perciò non saprei valutare.

Luxury and Service!
The Dylan was absolutely amazing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The staff was amazing, the room was clean and luxurious and the experience was unmatched. We arrived early and they met us with a hot tea and a muffin and checked our bags (which they took up to our room when it was ready) and provided recommendations for our morning. The room was very clean, and comfortable. Really enjoyed turndown service each night. Location was great and easy to walk most places we wanted to go but the Concierge was also happy to help arrange a cab when it was rainy or we wanted to venture further. I wish I could go back again already. Thank you for the great stay!

Aa luxurious haven with exceptional staff
I was in town for business for 4 days and I was incredibly impressed with the Dylan staff. They went out of their way to be helpful, always happy and courteous, and made an effort to say my name when they encountered me. The location is amazing, the comfort and cleanliness were exceptional.

This was our second stay of what will be our new staple for work/leisure. Best location and setting, beautiful building, lovely light and quiet spaces but with a sexy bar, sweet courtyard, and a Michelin star restaurant as well. Very well appointed and designed rooms with quality amenities and large bathrooms. But most of all- it was the best front desk/concierge team I’ve ever experienced in years of fickle travel. They are familiar with their guests and anticipate every need: water, tea, desserts, taxis, reservations etc. They went above and beyond for us when we had a medical issue with my husband, calling in an MD, even sending me coffee and pastries when I was exhausted coming in from errands one morning. And they asked after the outcome genuinely when we returned from the hospital?! This will be the only place I stay in AMS going forward. I hope you are lucky enough to do so as well. Cheers.

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. During our stay in July the area is very crowded but still quiet and beautiful to walk around before 9am so gives you a feel for how things are. Very central, easy to walk to shopping and other attractions. Would highly recommend the hotel; we stayed in the new wing and preferred it over the original hotel for its more modern facilities.

Buildings are beautifully maintained and still have some of the original materials. Charming lounge and courtyard areas. Excellent food. Staff was very attentive and responsive. However, I wasn't aware my room would be on two levels with steep stairs (about 15) with a curve at the top between the bathroom and bedroom. I'm in my 70s and wasn't comfortable maneuvering the stairs at night. I didn't like that I would've had to pay an additional 75 euros a night for 4 nights to change rooms.

I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed The Dylan. A great staff. Wonderful dining and bar. Beautiful room facing one of the top canals. Easy walking to museums, shopping, dining. The facility is a unique combination of history and modernity. Altogether perfect from my point of view.

The perfect setting for an Amsterdam holiday
We’ve eaten at Dylan before but not stayed at the hotel until now. And - it did not disappoint! From the way you are greeted upon arrival, the room layout, very comfortable beds and a nice bathroom, REALLY delicious meals and super professional and attentive service - everything just works. Only thing to suggest would be for them to make it easier for people to access the socket for your charger. We could only find it behind a cupboard I had to wrestle with:-). But this is a minor thing. We will definitely come back and we can only recommend The Dylan as the place to go if you want to be spoiled in Amsterdam. Wow!

Ask for a room in the old section of the hotel. The newer rooms are much more stark and contemporary. In the old section they are luxurious and beautifully decorated. After my first night,( of 3) I mentioned it to the front desk, they immediately moved me to the old section, despite being fully booked. The attitude of the staff is incredible, and the bar menu and ambiance is warm and wonderful. There is a Michelin star restaurant on the premises, but book well in advance if you want to dine there. Highly recommend you treat yourself to this lovely hotel in one of the most vibrant cities in the world.
