“Es gibt keine kostenlosen Parkplätze, sondern nur öffentliche kostenlose Parkplätze. Die Unterkunft ist nicht sehr sauber. Man bekommt keine Antwort vom Besitzer. Es gibt auch kein 24 Stunden Front Desk. Als wir gebucht hatten, stand sogar noch dabei, dass man die ganze Unterkunft alleine zur Verfügung hat, das stimmt aber nicht, es ist nur ein Zimmer. Die Treppen sind sehr steil.”

The animals on the farm entertained us each morning, especial the brother and sister Burmese Mountain dogs. The proximity to Ghent, Bruges and the coast made travel so convenient. “The kids loved having their own room and bunk bed. The space was very large and accomodating and clean. Beds comfortable. Location was perfect for the metro and walking around town. Building felt safe, but it is a busy part of town so can be noisy.”

The house has two ‘fields’ for gardens at the rear with a mown lawn area near to the house with a patio area allowing you to sit outside for meals. “The owner entered the room without permission and without a shirt - his usual attire- and began yelling because we turned on the heat in the kitchen (a wood stove) in order to have heat in the top floor room.
