This hotel was absolutely disgusting it made my skin crawl it was very dirty, the tub was filthy, the door was not secure. We left after the first night We have pictures

Our first impression walking into the lobby was that it was hotter than outside and the front desk person was yelling at some guest’s unattended kids to go back to their room. As I looked around, I could tell the photos I saw online were definitely nicer than the actual facility. It looked like they were going to renovate and then just didn’t. The hallway walking to the room was dark and creepy like something you’d see in a horror movie. Thankfully, the room was clean but it was also hot despite the air conditioning running constantly. The bathroom was cleanish but the shower pull wouldn’t stay engaged unless you did it just right so taking a shower was a process and the toilet kept running until you jiggled the handle a few times. The ironing board was broken and when I called down to get a replacement, the front desk person said he’d send someone else because he was in a meeting. Not only did no one show up after waiting 45 minutes but when we came down he was sitting at the desk watching videos on his phone and having a casual conversation with one of the other employees. The location and price were the motivator for staying here but there are several others to choose from in the same area.

The room was clean (even though I was issues a card before the room was done). The water in the shower was barely warm, the curtain rod was broken, and the curtains had holes. The hallway had various smells with one day that smelt not too bad but the other 2 were pretty terrible. The breakfast was inedible and the coffee was not good at all. The carpet in the main corridor is really dirty and does not present well. I would not recommend this hotel even at the price.

The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. The hallways could do with a bit of updating, especially considering it is the South and humidity levels run high. Our room had vinyl flooring, which was great in regards to being better for my allergies. The hotel is convenient to pretty much everything with multiple dining options available in less than 5 miles. We would definitely stay here again.

Website states there is breakfast, foul smelling dining room and limited breakfast. Served just scrambled egg, make your own waffle and various cereal. Website states outdoor pool, was about the size of an over grown kitty pool. We understand it is a little noisy because of april school vacation. Other residents were kind and easy to get along with. Hotel room while seemingly clean, smelled very much like some sort of cigarette smoke. Chips in hotel room floor, walls, etc. Plenty of parking for everyones convenience. Air conditioner worked great. Comes with large mini refrigerator, a couch.

The staff were nice and helpful. The facilities were clean and the available washer/dryer was made life easier. The room wasn’t in the greatest condition though such as the bathroom having only one of four lights lit above the sink and having a very low-water toilet that often didn’t flush the toilet paper down on the first try.

This property definitely is poor managed. Carpets were dirty, showers were not clean and the smelling to wee was horrible on the halls. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT to stay there.

Owners and their family take care of this place well; No issues with anything, huge rooms, a really good deal. It’s one of the hidden gems in Duluth for a great value without having to sacrifice your life, health or hygiene. Really good experience and such a great deal.

Property was okay. Less than what I expected for a Clarion property. Bed slept good. Toilet seat was loose, toilet paper holder was loose in wall and hanging out, not much water pressure in shower at 6a.m., dusty buildup under bed, frig didnt get cold, furniture was very worn, but bed slept well. Didnt do breakfast...no comment there.

Allgemein sind die Zimmer und Flure verwohnt und haben diverse Probleme wegen schlechter bzw. fehlender Instandhaltung. Toilettenspülung geht nur mit viel Gefuld, indem man runtergedrückt hält. Eine Lampe flackerte, so dass wir selbst Ersatzbirne von Reception holen mussten. Die anderen Lampenschirne waren angerissen. Sofa sah dreckig aus. Fernseher im ersten Zimmer hatte ein viel zu dunkles Bild, welches wir in den Einstellungen nicht selbst ändern konnten, daher sofort das zweite Zimmer bekommen mit den o.g. Problemen. Wandfliesen im Duschbereich teils schimmelige Fugen. Kühlschrank im ersten Zi hatte viel zu viel Eis gebildet, der im zweiten machte Geräusche. Vorhänge etwas rummelig. Frühstück war ein Witz. An beiden Tagen mussten wir für alles nachfragen, es gab nur Toastscheiben die immer aus waren. Früchte ständig leer. Scrambled eggs vertrocknet. Kaffee war auch leer am zweiten Morgen. Das junge Mädchen machte nur etwas auf Nachfrage. Es gibt keinen Manager on duty! Die beschäftigen internationale Studenten aus Indien. Der an der Reception war sehr nett. Wir hatten auch den Eindruck, dass Zimmer an Dauerbewohner vermietet werden, weil im Lobbybereich und im "Frühstück"-Raum Leute abhingen, die einen entsprechenden Eindruck hinterliessen. Am zweiten Abend hat uns auch der ewige Krach von ständigem Zimmertüren zufallen lassen genervt, es ging so bis kurz vor Mitternacht.
