We stayed at for a softball tournament and the front desk attendant was so sweet and helpful. She even gave us extra blankets and pillows so we are comfortable. We usually don’t stay in beach motels because we never know what we are getting into but this motel was super clean and very cozy. We would definitely stay here again.

The room which was allocated to us was not comfortable at all. Very old beds, sofa broken. They have lot to improve.

It is very close to the beach, they allowed us to check in early, they have a heated pool and it was open in Sept along with the grill in the pool area which made it great for us to cook meals. Nice setup with 2 queen size beds in our room made the stay very enjoyable.

This was a convenient location. Its probably an older hotel, simple but it's cared for and the staff was fantastic. It's close to boardwalk at 9th street and a couple blocks to Asbury ave.

Location was fantastic, easy parking, AC unit was great, has fridge and small kitchen. Everything was clean. Beds were not the most comfortable but overall a great price for what it was.

Nice place to stay. Clean, comfortable, and very close to the beach. Room was ready way earlier than expected which was nice. Pool was nice compared to others we've been at. Price for the room was a little expensive in my opinion but overall decent.

Location was good... 2 blocks to the beach. The room (#34) was clean and the ac worked great. The pullout couch could use a better mattress. The freezer kept ice frozen. The parking spots are tight.

Adequate, clean, no frills, good location
Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. Very convenient location in the middle of all of OCNJ action. Room space was larger than expected. Shower and sink hardware were poor, falling apart. Freezer was full of frost and not usable. Room was clean but trundle bed very uncomfortable. I believe these are individually owned so may be up to the owners to maintain. We were in unit 47.

Each unit is individually owned so Depending on what room you will get it will be stocked differently. Expect to use your own towels for beach (their shower towels are small). Great location, great price. Pro’s: -Check-in was easy. -Air conditioner worked very nicely. -pool is perfect & heated. There's even a grill there. -Beach passes included. -2 blocks from beach (we found our beach cart useful if you could fit in car). you are in the heart of it all, on 9th Street. Action is 6th - 14th street. -had most of kitchen amenities (no wine glasses or wine bottle opener) including mid-sized fridge with small freezer, stovetop, microwave, toaster. Augies for breakfast is good & 1 block away. -Main strip for shopping/restaurants (Asbury Ave) only 3 blocks away. -price was less than $260 “all in” per night and everywhere else with same amenities was at least $100 more per night. Cons -our unit was not modernized (very old stovetop). We didn't care. No oven. -pretty small unit (we are 2adults 9 yr old)- but doable for 3 days. -Front desk could be a little friendlier upon arrival, but it’s all good. Lots of hours are put in there.

This Motel was sold as Condominiums so, each "Motel Room" is owned and decorated by a different person. Each room has a Kitchenette, AC's & different sized Refrigerators. I had the pleasure of staying in room #35. Extremely well furnished in Beach/Sea decor with a full sized Refrigerator. The only Negative was that the Toilet is nestled in between the sink and shower so, I kinda had to sit sideways.

So an older motel that needs some tlc. The location was great to walk to the beach & boardwalk. The staff was very polite and accommodating. The rooms were clean just in. need of updating.

Overall stay was fine. It’s not a fancy place but for one night and at beach it worked fine. Rooms were clean and had huge fridge freezer. Offered beach tags which was nice.

I should of known right from the beginning there were going to be issues staying at this place. As soon as I booked, I received a phone call from the attendant, B, about how many people are staying at the place. I already had put down the amount of people in the reservation. So I didn’t understand why I got called for the same thing. She wasn’t too pleasant either. When we got to Sifting Sands, I went to check in and there was B, the attendant, and her excellent customer service ( I’m being sarcastic). She just had an attitude with me for no apparent reason. I didn’t try to let it bother me since I was there to have a good time with my family. However, when we went to our room, we noticed it had roaches crawling around. We decided that we needed to let them know his so it could be taken care of. B the attendant was there again. She didn’t really care about the situation and acted like this was a common thing at that place. She showed no concern and just said she’ll let management know. I’ll tell you this, probably won’t ever stay there again

We are very strict when it comes to the age policy. As far as the bugs that you have mentioned, it's not common for us to have bugs in the hotel. B did inform me of the bug issue and had our exterminator come out and examine the room, no bugs were found. Hopefully you would give us a second chance.
