Unser Auswahlkriterium war das im Hotel befindliche Restaurant, das leider außerhalb der Saison geschlossen war, wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, am Abreisetag war kein Personal im Hotel anzutreffen

We were the only guests so there was no wifi and no access to ice. Our walkway was icy and snow covered. The coffee maker wasn’t clean. We were charged full price for limited services.

The room was nice with good bed and super clean. The breakfast buffet was very disappointing! Cold toast made ahead and fake scramble d eggs all lukewarm. Greasy bacon.All for 40 dollars for two with tip to the girls who were very nice.Tim Hortons would have been better !! and turned us away from eating there for the night meals . Do not go with buffet special!!

This hotel was on the older side and probably needs an overhaul. That being said, it was clean and the staff was good.There was a dripping noise in the ceiling coming from the room above that I told them about and they looked into it and said there was nothing they could do about it. They didn't offer to change our room or do any more follow through with my concern. Since we weren't in our room much, we just dealt with it. Great location in Baddeck and it was walkable into the town center.

The propane fireplace was the only source of heat and the night manager did his best to remedy the situation x 2. He reported the issues to the manager of the property that evening. Next morning we had no hot water for our showers. Reported the issue when we checked out. The day manager did not make any remedy to our bill. The total for the 1 night was $222.87! Would never recommend!

The pillows are to heavy and thick hurts neck. Bet is too soft and back hurts. Left my sweatshirt in closet and they wanted $10$ shipping $10 service fee additional bank fee to have it sent to Halifax. I would not stay there again

Front desk staff staff was very friendly but we had an issue with room cleaning staff. We stayed 3 nights & one day the bathroom wasn't cleaned & the next they didn't t make the beds. The crank out window handle was broken as well the bathroom sink drain stopper would not work. The sauna & whirlpool were out of service. The business card of the owner advertises the property as 4 1/2 stars but at best based on the condition 3 stars would be stretching it.

Thanks for your feed back. When you put the sign on the door DO NOT DISTURB. Nobody will go in .If you read the sign the other side its saying MAKE THE BED and you by mistake put the DO NOT DISTURB. if you check our website we are not advertising for pool or sauna. I do not know where did you get this. Keep in mind you are not the one who assign the stars. Thanks

Great view to the lake from our front 4th floor window. Large comfortable room. Well kept. Good central location to start the Cabot Trail and also to go to Fort Louisburg! Lobster Supper there is very good restaurant at the Cable Room (all local food to table menu.

Very friendly staff. We arrived late and were tired from a long day driving. The young man at the front counter seated us in a quiet comfortable area where we enjoyed a lovely glass of wine while waiting for our take out meals which we enjoyed in our room.

Convenient location in Baddeck with a quiet double room. Bathroom was quite dated with a significantly cracked porcelain sink - room was clean and cozy. Dining options were not to our liking, so we went into town for dinner. However, for timing and convenience, we chose to have breakfast at the Inn. Unfortunately, the food was underwelming. The bacon did not taste like bacon and the toast was pre-toasted and left under a heat lamp. Lots of room for improvement with their cuisine.

The room seemed nicely decorated and was clean but there were no black out curtains and an exterior light right outside that shone in. This made sleeping less than ideal.

Good Morning Sir. Every single Room has a Curtains Panels, Black out Curtains and sheared. Both side of the window Black out Curtains are behind the Curtain Panels (Blue and Green).You did not try to look or you can ask to Front Desk. Sorry for not finding the Black out Curtains.

Overall, my experience at the property was largely positive, marked by a warm ambiance upon entry and convenient parking options. The check-in process was seamless, and the grounds were aesthetically pleasing. Amenities such as the fireplace and streaming TV added to the comfort of the stay. However, there were some areas where the experience fell short. The absence of robes and slippers, as well as the unstable feel of the bathtub, detracted from the overall luxuriousness one might expect. Coffee options were limited, with just one regular pod available. Additionally, the coffee maker seemed to malfunction, affecting the taste of the coffee. Another minor disappointment there were two large noticeable stains on the couch in the second bedroom, which had an impact on the otherwise pristine setting. On a brighter note, the property's proximity to the Lobster Supper was a highlight. The seafood, particularly the snow crab, was exceptional, and the desserts were delightful. Despite these setbacks, the stay was enjoyable, and I would give it a 4 out of 5 stars. With some minor improvements, it could easily achieve a full 5-star rating.
