They allowed me to book then no one came to the front desk I had to call customer service. Just to be switched to separate location then have to drive there which was inconvenient more so because I Ubered from the airport so I had to Uber there which was more money I had to pay.

I've stayed in numerous extended stays all-over the country. This one was horrible. Room not very clean. Old furniture and carpet. Door wouldnt completely lock. I waited 20 min to be checked in because no one was at the desk. Hotel is severly understaffed. Hallway smelled like weed.

The Front Desk staff (WHEN THEY WERE THERE) was friendly, Desk staf are NOT there 10pm to 10am. There was a Fire Alarm (false alarm thank God) about 11:45pm. THEN the couple in the room next to ours ( we were in Room 231) had a HUGE VERY LOUD fight about 2am for over an hour. We were frightened and very upxet. It was just the WORST - THE WORST - stay ever in more than 30 years of travelling. I will NEVER, NEVER stay in another Extended Stay anywhere - ANY WHERE.

Dog poop all around the property especially in the back. Rooms are not cleaned and replenished as they should be and the of dog urine hits you in the face in some units.

Said had to purchase pots and pans for $40.00 and dishes with utensils for $20.00. Why would i purchase this stuff for a two night stay when i have this stuff at home: dont need anymore dishes, this is just wrong for this type of hotel setup. No other Extended Stay I've stayed at makes you purchase these items: Wont stay here again!!! Smoke detector kept going off, reported to the front desk and was told maintenance was off; therefore it kept beeping all night.

There are 3 Extended Stays in the Columbia area. This is by far the best one. The staff is pleasant. The area is peaceful and the rooms are clean. I wll chose this location everytime.

It took three tries to get a decent room. The first room smelled of smoke. The second one had dirty sheets and the lock didn’t work properly. However, the final room was updated and clean. It was after 9 pm when I arrived from the airport. Otherwise, I would have left. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind.

Check in was horrible
Waited 15 minutes to check i. Die to the worker possibly sleeping. He was not polite when he finally came to the window. I expect better when i stay at a hotel of this rating for business. Key cards kept deactivating multiple times during our stay and wouldnt work on any outside oor or our room. Having to buy our utensils and pans to even have cooked food was not right, they should have let us know that ahead of time. Other then that the rooms were comfy, just had to beg for everything we needed

I am a member of a family of three, including a four-year-old child. We recently embarked on the journey of becoming homeowners, but unfortunately, we encountered some unexpected issues with our new place, rendering it uninhabitable. Consequently, we had to seek alternative living arrangements to accommodate our needs. Instead of opting for a traditional lease, we decided to stay at the Columbia Gateway Extended Stay. Initially, we were unsure of what to expect from this location in terms of its child-friendly environment and amenities. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find that it not only catered to families but also provided a fully equipped kitchen with a stove and oven. Moreover, the staff at this location was exceptional, and the ongoing conversion to studio apartments added to its appeal. If you ever find yourself in need of temporary accommodation without the commitment of a long-term lease, I highly recommend considering the Columbia Gateway Extended Stay. It offers a comfortable and convenient living experience, ensuring that you do not feel trapped or restricted.

Pretty bad
Smells like cigarettes and fried food. It’s loud all night long. People are stomping all night and slamming their doors. Kids running in the hall ways until midnight. The desk attendant that we had to call to check us in was nice and the guy who checked me out in the AM was quick and efficient. We had no towels or soap in our room and we called for them but couldn’t not get any because there was no staff on.

Bedsheets were full with long, black hair, none of the amenities promised with the room were present. No coffee pot no iron no hairdryer. Bed set up for the hide a bed was absent. No grab and go Breakfast was available. Very difficult to contact staff.

Terrible room amenities! They only provide two bath towers and two wash clothes (no hand towel!!) for two people for weekly stay! If you need new towel, you need to pay. There's full kitchen, but no dinnerware or cookware. You have to buy plates, bowls, silverware for $20 and a few pieces of cookware for $60 if you want to cook and eat in the room! Worst of all, they don't even provide iron and ironing board!!! If you're a traveler, stay away from this place!

Disgusting- avoid
Most disgusting smell as you enter the lobby of the hotel. The room was dirty kitchen filthy, bathroom filthy. I travel with cleaning products and Lysol, so I did my own cleaning being that I checked into the room at close to 10 o’clock Wednesday upon check-in. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely unfriendly, and almost gave me the creeps, the noise with the people that are living, there was off the charts kids running around at all hours banging slamming doors just a terrible experience all around only thing I can say where the grounds were good for walking my show dogs . I would never stay here again, and if I ever get to a place with this amount of filth, I will make sure I leave the first night subjecting myself to dust and mold in the room all hours of the night noise, and smells when you enter the hotel that our gut wrenching.

It’s smelled of cigarette smoke throughout the whole building. It made it hard for us to breathe in the room. And it was terrible especially for the little children. Their were no sheets. Stains on the mattress. Broken pull out sofa. And even the bathroom was a mess.
