The most disgusting place I’ve ever had the misfortune to stay. Two rooms tried, both equally as foul and one was supposed to be “the bridal suite”. Blood, hairs, stains of all sorts, mould, damaged furniture, broken electrical equipment, manky old toilet… I could go on and on! Staff weren’t in the least bit surprised or interested. Told to complain to hotels.com not them. Oh… and they hide the fact the pool and gym are a £20 extra in the t&c’s. Avoid like the plague!

Stayed here on business and would stay again, room pretty standard but comfortable and very good food in the restaurant.

Not Value for Money or 4 stars worth.
My room was moved. Change of room was terrible, room was ice cold. Heating was not working. When i requested extra blankets, i was given only one for 3 of us. It was -3 degrees and the bathroom was warmer than the room. My 4 year old, my eldery mom and me didnt sleep at all due to how cold we were. We complained to reception but they didnt do more than one extra blanket. Breakfast options were very basic to none. The staff was trying but there wasnt enough to offer not even a proper coffee machine. Hotel is not value for money. Clearly lack of staff. Upon checkin I was informed to get more details on the hotel and how they operate I should have booked directly. Being a gold member hotels.com member privileges are nil in such hotels. Spa is at cost and so is softplay. Nothing is included as part of your staff. I am utterly disappointed and have left with unwell child due to no attention by hotel management on how cold room when it freezing temperatures outside. Staff asked me if I turned on heating noone went to room to check and help. Hotel bathrooms are outdated and curtains dont close properly. No more than 2 stars hotel. Not worthy more than that

Staff helpful, rooms dated and need modernisation.
Hotel is tired and needs updating but staff are friendly and helpful. Bed was comfy but the rooms are dated.

Nice hotel and facilities,, really good leisure facilities but the food was mediocre for dining. warm not hot, dried mushrooms for the steak and cold chips and onion rings. When I mentioned the staff just apologized and took my plate.

There was a power cut overnight. This meant I could not iron clothes, go the gym, watch tv. Although I do not blame the hotel I feel compensation should be paid as I did not enjoy any of the things I paid a lot of money for.

Unfortunately the hotel was very busy with a wedding and the noise, slamming of doors, loud noise was woeful. We tried ringing at 01:00am to complain but no-one answered. We eventually got to sleep around 1:45. The room looked tired and worn. When we complained to reception the following morning there was a total disinterest and lack of concern. We will not be staying here again.

2 night stay whilst visiting friends that live near by. Comfortable, clean room. I thought tv was a little too small and struggled to see the programmes at times. Also, as I was in the building separate from the main hotel I felt a little uneasy coming back at night (as I was travelling alone), and room was at the far end at the back of the building. Staff were friendly, nice breakfast and bar and restaurant were good. Definitely stay again

Deserves more than its current score
X1 night stay. Rating was high 7's - however it should be mid 8's. Good value for money, clean, quiet and a comfy bed. The gym is as good as youll get when working away from home. The staff were all v.pleasant and accomodating.

terrible customer service
great place to stay but customer service was shocking. i had covid so could not go and when i contacted the hotel they would not cancel the stay or even move it to another date so i had to give the night away to a friend. shocking service. will not stay again.
