A great find.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, giving great advice including suggesting walks which would be good for us. There is a very varied choice at breakfast and all we tried was very good quality and perfectly prepared. The new renovations throughout are beautiful, showing the skill, flare, and care of the owners. We would willingly return to Aberconwy House. The hosts are fulling a dream to have a B&B which was obvious during our greatly enjoyed stay.

Perfect B&B!
Wonderful location with excellent views from a full bay window. Comfortable beds, large and updated bathroom. Short drive or quick walk down to town center, giving great access to restaurants/shops while also having a lovely retreat to enjoy the natural beauty of snowdonia. Breakfast was delicious and catered to special dietary needs (gluten free, vegan, dairy free, etc). Easy parking in designated spaces in front of the house. Hosts were kind and friendly with great local recommendations. We can’t wait to visit again!

Absolute gem of a place with lovely lovely hosts.
Absolutely fantastic! I’m very fussy about where I stay & this was for my partners birthday surprise, so even more important! The views were incredible. No tv required! Genuinely the cleanest place I have EVER stayed!-it was spotless. Pippa & Martin couldn’t have been more helpful, from the minute I booked it. Thoroughly recommend it to anyone-literally can’t fault anything. Thanku.

Amazing stay!
Everything with Aberconwy house is just amazing! The hosts are so friendly and helpful with everything you can wish for. We stayed in the four poster room and the view is amazing! The room is really fresh and have everything you need. Breakfast is made by order and you have a lot of options. There's lots of vegan options, like the amazing homemade plant-sausage and scrambled tofu. We're definitely coming back to explore more of north Wales!

Room was clean, tidy and has everything we needed. Martin was very welcoming and thoughtful. He knows the area well and suggested some nice places to eat and to visit.

Amazing stay!
Aberconwy House is like a home away from home. They have really thought of everything, and are so lovely and friendly. So knowledgeable on the area and happy to help where they can! The breakfast every day was perfect, especially the veggie sausages made by Martin! Everything is spotless which I especially loved. Would love to come back again!

We had an amazing stay. The room was perfectly clean, had all the facilities we needed and had a wonderful view out to the mountains! The breakfast was delicious and everything so well organised. The hosts were lovely and we especially appreciated all of Martin’s tips and directions to make the most of our stay in the area. We hope to stay again soon!

Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
We had such a lovely stay at Aberconwy House! The room was spotless and we were lucky to have an amazing view. The bed was super comfy too! The breakfast was delicious, I’d highly recommend the fruit salad and we took bacon and sandwiches to go too which were really tasty and came with some extra cakey treats. As for the hosts, they were SO friendly and lovely! Full of tips and advice and couldn’t do enough for you. I’d highly recommend staying here. The location is also brilliant, we loved the 10 minute field walk to the local pubs and restaurants ☺️ Thanks for having us!

Aberconwy House is very well located in the Conwy Valley area of North Wales and Martin, Pippa and Marian were very welcoming, hospitable and friendly hosts throughout. We thoroughly our stay at their guest house and the room, facilities and breakfast were all first class. We tried to find a negative for the purposes of balance in this review but that was futile and would simply have been churlish even if there was one! We really couldn't fault the place and the team who run it and we look forward to an early return, thank you.

The property is in a beautiful position, high up making it an ideal place to view the hills and night sky. The owners are very accommodating and gave us a warm welcome and information about the local area. We had a ground floor room which had its own back entrance and seating area. The room and dining area were spotless and comfortable

Great stay
Had a great stay here in room 9. The room was clean, spacious and more than met our needs. This room also had a handy external entrance so we didn't have to go through the main house to get back in later in the evening. Definately recommend Aberconwy house to anyone thinking of going to the Betws-y- coed area

Excellent BandB to explore Snowdonia/ North Wales
Marian, Pippa and Martin are superb, attentive hosts and they really care about their guests being comfortable inside their establishment. They are most happy to advise on sights to see and walking/ hiking routes most of which they know from personal experience. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable with good facilities. There is a wide selection of food available for breakfast including welsh cakes and Martins own veggie sausages which are delicious. They are also attentive to details such as a drying facilities for wet clothes and a communal fridge to keep your own wine, beer and milk etc. We are sure to return to Snowdonia sometime and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Martin and Pippa were really welcoming and did everything they could to ensure we had a good stay. Room was of good quality all recently updated. Great location within a lovely 10 minute walk to all the amenities, over a beautiful bridge/river. This includes a few good restaurants as well as the bus that takes you to Snowdon. I would highly recommend and hope to return.

We have returned from a 2 night stay at the Aberconvy House B&B in Betws-y-Coed and can honestly say this is the perfect guest house. We stayed there as a family of three in a family room. The room was very spacious and clean. Our hosts very accommodating and welcoming.

Great weekend break
We had a lovely stay at Aberconwy House - we were well looked after by the friendly and helpful owners, enjoyed great breakfasts and had a fantastic view from our recently refurbished room. The B&B is located a short and pleasant walk from the village where there are nice restaurants. It is also easy to get to the start point of many walking routes up Snowdon by bus.

We had a very spacious room with ample room to sit and relax or work at a table. The en-suite bathroom was also up-to-date and a comfortable size. We had fun negotiating the 'short-cut' to the local restaurants for dinner, once we were confident of the directions. The breakfast room is charming and the food options were well-prepared. We were very grateful for the take-away breakfast provided when we needed to make an early start on our second morning. Parking was a little cramped, but tandem arrangements seemed to operate effectively.

Great weekend getaway
Great B&B, short walk to the town centre. Good wifi, good amenities and really good breakfast. Make sure you try the welsh cakes. We had to leave early on the morning of our checkout to hike up mount snowdon and they made a breakfast bag for us to take with us!

Amazing B&B:Modern, Spacious Rooms. Great Location
Absolutely amazing B&B run by great people. I originally had booked 2 nights here, but loved it so much that I added an extra night + Room - Modern, spacious, clean & comfortable (both the bed & chairs in the sitting area). Had great little touches too like tea, coffee, hit chocolate & biscuits/ cookies. + Food - Breakfast was delicious every morning. Everything was high quality & fresh. + Service - Pippa & Martin we’re really helpful in everything from recommending great restaurants/pubs in toen, to hiking routes. Pippa was kind enough to send me off with a Welsh cake because she knew I wanted to try one, but was too full from the delicious breakfast + Location - Few minutes walk into Betws-Y-Coed, which is a great town. Tons of delicious restaurants & pubs, and perfect jumping off point for exploring the National Park. Would stay here again in a heartbeat & recommend to anyone I knew heading to Snowdonia

Just loved it - amazing experience
We had an amazing time in the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and maintained to high standard. The family managing the guest house is very knowledgable of the area and happy to give sound advise. It felt like we lived with the extended family rather than a staying in a hotel room. I will definitely come to the sandbox place next time I visit Snowdonia. My spouse also share the same experience. Thanks for for the wonderful memories of the place.

Lovely B and B in a good location. Staff were exceptionally welcoming and really enhanced our stay with their diligence and humour. Excellent breakfast, comfortable rooms, wide variety of drinks options in room, fridge for use of guests, what more could one ask for?

Excellent B&B with lovely views!
We cannot fault our stay. The room was very modern and clean with fantastic views over the countryside. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and a yummy option to have Welsh cakes for dessert! The owners were really helpful and so knowledgeable about the area, often planning the guests itinerary for them over breakfast! The town of Betws-Y-Coed is a short walk away down a public footpath which provided stunning views of the area and the quaint charm of the place. The only issue we encountered was being woken up at 7am on Saturday morning by the builders at the guest house next door, but presumably this work will be finished in the near future.

The hotel was fantastic. It was in a great location with a short drive from some great places. The staff were ftiendly and always happy to help. The room was fantastic and had a great view.

We will be back
The hosts were welcoming, helpful and fun. We were shown to our 2nd floor room and the view from our bay window was breathtaking. Only a short walk into town, and with onsite parking, it is the perfect place to enjoy the township on foot.If you're up for it, Zip World Fforest is literally just down the road, and Conwy Falls and Go Below caving adventures are less then 5 minutes away by car. The breakfast was yummy and catered perfectly for my wife's vegetarian needs - Martin's home-made veggie sausages are awesome!

Our 2 night stay at Aberconwy
Excellent location (just a short walk across public access land, past some sheep and across a small suspension bridge took us straight into Bewts-Y-Coed). Lovely room (no.6) on 2nd floor with great views and very clean. Breakfast was very nice and set us both up well for the day. We were warmly greeted and always felt at home in a lovely, family run B&B. Would stay again next time we are in North Wales. Thanks so much for turning a great weekend break into a great relaxing time.

Excellent b&b
Unable to find anything negative to say.... very clean, recently refurbished. Comfy bed. Nice shower. Great view from room. Delicious breakfast. Helpful, friendly staff with excellent knowledge of the local area and great tips for local walks.

Really Comfortable
Our stay was really lovely. Staff were so warm and welcoming, breakfast was perfect, the room was excellent. After climbing Snowdon it was so wonderful to come back to such a comfortable room. I would recommend this B&B any day!

Lovely guest house in quiet location nr village
Stayed here for 2 nights in September. I have stayed in a few of the nearby b&bs and campsites over the years. This is my favourite so far and I plan on booking with them next time. The family who run it are very friendly while remaining professional and attentive. The room was clean and roomy with a beautiful view. If I was to be picky I would say the bed was too soft for my tastes... but that really is personal taste. Also, being 6' 2" I did bang my head a few times on the wardrobe when brushing my teeth and washing my hands (the sink is located at one end of the dressing unit. The breakfast was presented with plenty of choices and was beautifully cooked, and the two breakfast rooms were light and welcoming. Parking too was easy and very nearby.

Excellent hotel in a beautiful location. If transport is not an issue, it's ideally located for most of the top attractions North Wales has to offer.

Great Place to Stay
We were exploring Wales for short visit. The staff gave us good advice on what to see. Helped us to arrange transport. They even gave us good suggestions for our breakfast choices. We now know what "soldiers" are for breakfast

Great B&B in a beautiful setting.
I've stayed here on two separate occasions and I would stay here again. This is a lovely place with equally lovely hosts. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend in Snowdonia.

Local B and B in gorgeous area. Great meal at breakfast. Nice couple run the hotel. Very helpful. Within walking distance of town. Rooms a bit cramped on space.

Ladies from Pasadena!
The new owners were delightful. They went out of their way to see to our every need. We arrived by train and they even picked us up at the Information center. The breakfast was geared to our liking, Wonderful location only a 5 minute walk thru beautiful countryside and over a bridge to the town.
