Newly renovated, very clean, great breakfast, friendly service. We stayed with our young kids.

Convenient, well priced, great breakfast!
The room was small but comfortable. The bed and pillows were awesome!! The shower was huge and fabulous!

Convenient but needing better accommodations
We had booked from an online service website and we had requested for a non-smoking room. Our room's odor was unpleasant and very dissatisfied of the comfort of our bed. It seemed as though at the break of daylight, the sounds coming from the cart was bothersome and really could have waited until at least 8am. We had left Jacksonville, Florida because my Fiancé was seen at The Mayo Clinic and had driven for some time and all we needed was a night of rest. The lady working the desk was very professional and made our check-in pleasant.

Beware: Very Thin Walls
We checked in at 10pm. At 4am the next morning, the person in the room next door turned on their TV. Probably normal volume for them, but we could hear every word as if it were own TV and it made it impossible to sleep. After trying to wait it out for 45 minutes, we saw no choice but to get on the road at 5:30am. Staff was apologetic but this is a much cheaper, less nice hotel than reviews indicate.

Very pleasant stay...friendly, courteous staff..very clean,room,lobby,and grounds.peaceful and quiet, (rare to find these days)...will definitely stay again when in the,area,and highly recommend. Thanks to all the staff for your efforts !

NASTY!!!!
First room had a dried bug on the sheet I thought it was a fly. I found out that was a dried bedbug, because there was a big skittering bedbug in the next room they assigned to me. I squashed it and there was a bloom of bright red blood.YUUUUCCCKKKK!!! Please remove this facility from your stable of hotel choices!!!!!

Will definitely stay again
Completely renovated! Extremely clean and friendliest service! The hotel was close to the interstate and had lots of places to shop and eat. Breakfast even offered some hot options.

Convenient and inexpensive
This hotel is nothing fancy from the outside but the rooms were updated and clean. The price was right and close to I65 and food/gas.

The hotel staff was NOT easy to deal with. We were there for work and had to sleep odd hours. The hotel staff woke us up and made us leave the rooms so they could clean them instead of respecting the "privacy please" sign on the door. They would not offer us any negotiation on a late checkout and were not willing to discuss anything.

Must Stay At Hotel
Comes with complimentary breakfast from 6am-9am, room has iron, iron board, hair dryer, coffe pot with coffe & cups, clean towels & bed linen, microwave, small fridge hid in big cabinet, and comes with complimentary personal items. Hotel also has a snack shop in lobby where can purchase snacks and drinks if need em. Also has a pool and a beautiful courtyard.

Disappointed that there were no towel bars, I had to lay wet towels over a chair. I could not get an extra blanket when needed. The room had poor ventilation. The lady that cares for the breakfast area is awesome, very friendly and a great personality.

Days Inn North Birmingham was really good. We had a nice clean room. Had a problem with the smell coming out of the A/C, and the sink would fill up with water from somewhere. Also had blood stains on blanket. The staff was excellent. They were very nice and helpful. We spent a lot of time talking with Jimmy at the counter. Super nice. The breakfast was good. We only at there once. Very small room and not enough seats for all. All in all we will go back and stay again.

Not up to previous levels
This is the fourth time we've stayed here. There are reasons we are content to return, location and price chief among them. On this visit, cleanliness of the room was not up to previous levels, even after asking the desk clerk to mention it to housekeeping. It wasn't filthy or disgusting, but it was disappointing. Also, I was never able to get a wifi connection throughout my stay over four days. I received a password upon check in. When it didn't work, I was told no password was necessary but assured that it was fully encrypted and completely safe. It still didn't work. I received another explanation and another password; it didn't work. Upon reporting this, I heard yet another explanation. By this point, I was checking out, so I told the young lady that I didn't really need to know why, but I wanted to let her know so they hotel would be informed These two things made this visit less than satisfactory. Would we stay again? Probably, but with some prejudice.

Close to airport; good for just an overnight stay
Big hotel, clean and tidy with good amenities. Can be a little noisy at night time with highway or late arriving truckers. Wifi was free and reliable, staff were quite helpful.

Just a minor problem, the breakfast area was too cramped and didn't have a good flow to fix your meal and hardly anywhere to sit.

Great hotel, with an attractively landscaped courtyard. Nice hot breakfast, or cold if you want cereal, yogurt, etc. Couldn't have asked for a friendlier staff, everyone we met was simply awesome! Will stay again next time we are traveling through!!
