The property is stunning in terms of the surroundings. I had a slight issue on my way in finding it as the signage on the country road isn’t very clear so I drove past the turning twice. When I arrived again the signage isn’t very clear about where to go and park. There are signs for reception but they are coupled with signs for a teachers union which I personally found confusing as I was unsure if I was in the correct place.
The staff were super friendly and helpful during check in, and in the bistro bar. The pricing in the bistro bar was also very good, I had a pizza and a large glass of wine which was all very enjoyable.
My room was well presented, and clean. The bathroom looked like the towels had just been replaced but not cleaned as there was hair which looked like someone had just shaved over the sink and the shelf. The shower had a few hairs in also. The hairdryer on the wall in the bathroom wasn’t great, I believe if you simply swapped these for normal hairdryers they would be much better.
The breakfast was good, there was a good selection of foods and drinks. Checkout was easy also.
Overall a good stay, with slight changes it would’ve been a great stay!
