“This hotel is very conveniently located in the centre of Chlemsford and it is only a short walk to the mainline train station, which has excellent and frequent Greater Anglia train services to London. The hotel staff, especially the reception ladies, are very friendly and pleasant, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast buffet has now been replaced by a freshly cooked to order offering, for which you need to allow extra time. My only gribble was the breakfast coffee was tepid.”

L'albergo è a una decina di km da Stansted ma servito dai mezzi pubblici solo fino ad una certa ora (bus 133) è con non grande frequenza. “It as a beautiful 1400 Grade 1-listed building, which was great, but I had problems with the shower. In my initial room the water was lukewarm at best.
