Great place in Blackpool
Very helpful host. Room very clean and cosy. Great location. Decor in hotel itself bit tired, and no wi-fi. But great value for money and thoroughly recommend.

Weekend break
Lady owner was friendly and chatty when we arrived :) nice comfy bed and bedroom was good for the price paid . Only used bedroom facilities as exloring Blackpool all day

Very good stay
Good guest house. Lovely staff who cannot do enough for you. Very clean rooms, great breakfast and good location close to seafront in between the pleasure beach and the tower.

Lovely Stay
Lovely owner, The Room was Clean & Fresh, The bed was Clean & Comfortable, felt really relaxed there. Was really impressed that we had a private bathroom. If I was to Come back I would definitely stop in this hotel again.

hi Mrs birtle thank you for your review of your stay with ourselves, with regards to your comment regarding towels there is a clear sign in the bathroom stating " if you require fresh towels please leave soiled towels in the shower tray", no point during your stay did you do this. The radiators were not put on when you stayed as the weather very warm so it was not necessary. Tinned tomatoes are choice given to you for breakfast you didn't have to have them. Comments regarding restaurants being unhygienic is a personal opinion not fact, if you are refering to your sister being unwell, this could be due to a number of reason ie her recent holiday abroad or due to the alcohol consumed !!

Great stay.
Had a great time at this hotel, staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in the newly furbished family room which was very clean and spacious. Just off the beach front and right in between the tower and pleasure beach. Can't comment on breakfast as never had any here but overall a lovely stay. Would go back again and would recommend to others.

Great place to stay very close to the promenade
Our host Grant was really helpful in letting know where we could park the car (thus avoiding parking fees - which we did!). The breakfast was lovely, plenty of it. The room was small ( 2 adults and 1 child) but very clean and had everything we needed. The room was also nicely decorated. The Mardonia is ideally placed - just a very short walk (less than 5 mins) to the promenade and the nearest tram stop (St Chad's Road). It's in the middle between the Tower and the Pleasure Beach, pretty much. There's no wifi (because the size of the property) it's not a problem if you have 3G / 4G data (so didn't bother us)

Well recommended B&B centrally located
Lovely, friendly B&B only a stone's throw from the promenade and beach. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order so piping hot. Really friendly hosts who made our stay pleasurable. Rooms were lovely and clean, and although small this is what we expected. Great value for money and would definitely recommend.

Lovely B&B very central
Stayed here in November in a lovely family room (2 adults and a child). Spotlessly clean and very comfy beds. Great large bathroom. Very quiet nights sleep too. Great breakfast and owners. We were able to walk to all the attractions and to the beach. Lovely place.

We took our grandchildren to see the illuminations and the hotel was very nice.the only downside was no parking but there are 2 pay and display car parks very nearby.From the outside looks were deceiving, we stayed in the family room which was very clean,modern and spacious. The breakfast and service was very good.I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody going on a short break

Wonderful guest house with great owners!
Wonderful guest house that was immaculately clean. The owners were lovely and gave us a warm welcome. Room was great with everything we needed. Breakfast waa lovely and location ideal for getting around. Only issue was parking, which we had to find in local carparks. Unfortunately the only one that had spaces was a 10 minute walk away for £7 per 24 hours. We did go in peak season on a bank holiday weekend though, so closer carparks may be available at different times of the year. This still would not put me off staying again though and I will definitely stay again when I return to Blackpool. When staying make sure you have cash as lots of shops/restaurants would only accept cash. We visited the Tower Ballroom for Afternoon tea which I would highly recommend :)

Great locations, walking distance to all attractions. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and polite. Breakfast was very delicious with a variety. Overall great hotel and would definitely recommend and will definitely stay here again when I next visit Blackpool.

excellent service,clean rooms,great food!
What a fabulous little b&b, we had 2 family rooms and a double for 2 nights. Not a single complaint from any of us. The rooms were spotless and clean. The breakfast was excellent and the owners were friendly and very accommodating. Glad we chose this hotel. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Last minute weekend break
Second visit to Blackpool and the Mardonia in 3 years. We booked at the last minute on a whim. The B&B is great the rooms are always kitted out to a high standard. The beds are really comfy. We have stayed in rooms 5 & 6 now and both rooms were great. Breakfast was brilliant as well and nothing was ever too much trouble. We stayed for 2 nights as a family of 3. The Mardonia is in a great central location with a tram stop (St chads) less than 5 minutes walk away. There is also a car park by the church at the end of the road and 24 hours parking cost us £7.00 . Overall 2 great visits and couldn't fault a thing on either visit. We will defenitely be back at some point for visit number 3 and I would always book this B&B over its competitors any day of the week

We will be back :)
A 2 night getaway for bank holiday. The hotel was lovely and the owners are very friendly and welcoming! The bed are so so comfy, I got lost in the fluffy pillows and massive duvet! We didn't have breakfast, make sure you book it if you do want it! The shower was easy to use and they had shampoo etc encase you forgot yours... Which I did!! Check in was easy and we got there a little late due to traffic but they were understanding. The second night there we had a drink or two with the owners and another couple staying at the hotel, it was a lovely evening! They have a vintage gaming machine in the bar which my son loved! Worth every penny and we will definitely be returning when the illuminations are on! Thank you guys xx

Would defo go back!
Recently stayed here with my friend for the weekend over Easter and really enjoyed. I used to stay in this hotel as a wee girl and it felt so good to be back. The new owners are lovely and made our stay brilliant. We could have listened to the landlady's stories for hours! Hotel is in a brilliant location and slap bang in the middle of all the main attractions. Will definitely be back for another wee visit!

Short break
The accommodation was clean and tidy, the bathroom was spacious and recently upgraded. The person who met us was polite and professional,the breakfast provided was good but maybe should have had a wider time slot rather than the half hour allocation. No Wi-Fi as it wasn't switched on

Hello Paul, thankyou for reviewing your stay with us. regarding breakfast, as it is classed as "out of season" we find that generally the 9am -9.30 is adequate for guest's sorry it wasn't for you both. The Wifi is provided free and is accessable via a password which guest's only have to ask for (we don't provide for the street). but in fairness you did only ask about the Wifi after you had eaten breakfast 1 hour before departure.

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Gorgeous room and ensuite will definitely be returning. Staff are nice and left us to our wkend break. Fantastic little b and b. Rooms are very well designed

Best stay in blackpool.
Hotel is spotless. Does the best breakfast on the planet. Would defo stay here again. The owners even moved there car to let us park across from hotel. So friendly and welcoming.

Blackpool Illuminations
Overall we had a lovely break we stayed for 3 nights the room was very clean and we received a warm welcome.Located near the south shore it was the perfect location for us away from the high street and noise. We would both stay here again.
