Visited on a Friday night, the location was great, room clean and comfortable. My biggest problem is the cost vs. what you get.
On the night I stayed the TVs across the hotel were not working, when raising this to hotel staff they couldn't be less bothered, "yes that is a problem across the hotel right now" and what?
I paid extra for the room with a view. My advice is don't! Our view was of the carpark, with a slight view of the sea, but only if you stood right up to the window and turned to see the clipping of view. Really not worth the extra money.
Further to this the parking is available to both hotel guests and members of the public, what confused me was that I'm not sure if there was a difference in price between what guests paid and the public price.
Finally the shower was an interesting design that lacked the power that I'm used to from some cheaper hotel chains.
All in all, with the lack of a view, rude front desk, strangely weak shower, no TV this room should have cost much less and I even feel with the TV not working we should have received at least 1/3rd of the room cost back. My recommendation... Try a Travelodge or Premier Inn instead.
At least it was clean...
