There was a strike that prevented our shuttle to arrive for airport return. The staff did absolutely nothing to assist us to arrange an alternate method of transportation.

What an amazing place! First time ever in Mexico and had a wonderful experience. Most everyone knew some English, they encourage you to try speaking Spanish. Lots of activities to do for both kids and adults. The resort is quite large so be prepared to walk but it is absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommend!!

Having different areas to choose to spend your day was nice. Most of the specialty restaurants did not have a great variety of menu options. Buffet was always a good fall back.

The Riu Palace was an excellent resort for a great value. They took care of me and my wife for our wedding on site. They surpassed all of our expectations for our special day. Would recommend this resort and their services to anyone. We will definitely be back!

It's a great property and once you figure out what the good food is (for you), has great dining. If you're able-bodied, it's hard to top this place. That said, it was designed by a stair fetishist. Ultimately it's probably good for us who are just lazy, but if you do have any kind of mobility issues, look elsewhere.

Our stay for two was perfect! The property itself is very nice, the rooms are “outdated” but I knew that based off of other reviews. I personally do not care about the rooms as long as they are clean, functioning and well equipped (which they were). You spend the least amount of time in the room anyways! Super close to the beach, I like how you can use both resorts. We only ate at the buffets and they were good, lots of options. Staff was nice, no complaints! would stay here again :) I saw a lot of negative reviews on how it was noisy, which was not the case for us. Everyone who complained did decide to go during spring break which is expected

During a visit in 2022 we were able to use facilities at the Baja California and Santa Fe. This time we weren't able to go to the Baja at all and could not even get a towel or use most of the restaurants at the Santa Fe. We had checked in online and arrived just before 5:00pm, the online check-in person was packing up and said she leaves at 5, sorry, bye. Then we joined the Riu Class line (am a member) and was asked to step aside before being assisted when a checked-in guest approached the counter behind me. Extremely rude and overall very disappointed this trip. Extremely noisy guests and staff in the hallways all night and early morning. Also nearby construction starts before 5am..very disappointing overall

I did not like that you could not swim in the ocean in front of the hotel. The hallways are all tile in the hotel making it VERY noisy day or night from cleaning carts, suitcases, and people returning to their rooms. The ladies at cappuccino for morning coffee were rude. All the other staff we encountered we had good experiences. While the pool was nice and we enjoyed being able to find chairs, there are lots of tiles missing and it needs some repair.

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. The food is just terrible. The all inclusive not worth it at all. Poor food quality and becareful with food poisoning.

Pros: Beautiful views, amazing huge pools, very clean, amazing service (Angel at the beach bar is so nice and helpful!), right on the beach (note: while you can't swim right out front, you can walk to swimmable areas), breakfast buffet was great with so many options Cons: We did not like the Japanese restaurant

We enjoyed our stay, I’d say the food was better then where we usually go “all around Huatulco” the hotel is so big and there are stairs everywhere, bathrooms are far from Pools , kinda inviting the inevitable pool pee’ers. Because the beach isn’t useable , the pools get pretty full, which is okay, but they have so many activities you can’t really relax in the pool. But people were having fun& that’s always good! The pool is dated with a lot of tile falling off. But they were always cleaning and staff was great.

I had an enjoyable stay and everyone was nice, friendly and warm. Great excursions (Sun Rider boat ride, city tour & glass boat, and ATVs) and parties were themed and a lot of fun with techno music. My one issue was the food could have been better...tasteless and served warm/cold.

Such a beautiful place and great people that work there. Very generous and easy. Don’t need to make reservations to eat which is amazing and they make all types of drinks with whatever brand u want. Only issue the water and lights went out 4 times on Monday between 12pm to 2pm

What made this vacation special at the Riu Palace Los Cabos is the staff. We delt with different staff from house keeping, servers and workers, we can't express enough the efforts and dedications that everyone we showed during our visit. The layout of the facility and options are many but the staff workers acted above and beyond. We finally found our spot for our regular getaway.

This was our second stay at the Riu Palace. My only complaint was the children across from us screaming and crying all night The staff were quick to make things right for us and moved us to a different room an an upgrade as well. I can not say anything bad about the resort. Staff are absolutely amazing. The resort is so beautiful Whatever you do…….dont forget to tip the staff at every opportunity. They live off their tips. And your service will be the best ever!!! Go to the dining room in the evening and ask to be seated in Victor’s section. Best service we have ever had!!! ❤️
