I recently stayed at the Jasmine Pyramid Hotel in Giza, Egypt, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it based on my experience. While the rooms were decent, the hotel made significant errors that greatly impacted our stay. Upon arriving late due to flight delays, we were informed that our room had been given away. The staff blamed the booking website and failed to take responsibility. As a result, we were left with the inconvenient option of sleeping on the lobby couch or in a vacated guest room.
This mishap had a substantial negative impact on our first day tours in Egypt. It disrupted our plans and left us feeling frustrated and inconvenienced. It's disappointing that the hotel's staff did not proactively address the situation and find a suitable solution.
Additionally, the breakfast provided at the hotel was average at best. While it offered a sufficient start to the day, it did not offer anything exceptional or noteworthy.
In summary, my experience at the Jasmine Pyramid Hotel was marred by the staff's mishandling of our reservation, resulting in an inconvenient and uncomfortable stay. This, in turn, affected our first day tours and overall enjoyment of our time in Egypt. I would recommend considering alternative accommodations for a smoother and more enjoyable stay.
