Decisamente datato:necessita ristrutturazione.
Abbiamo soggiornato ad agosto 2017. L'hotel è situato in una posizione molto tranquilla di Canterbury. 5 minuti a piedi e sei in città. Hotel bellissimo nel passato immerso nel verde, ora veramente trascurato e vecchio.(anche la foto pubblicato sul sito di Expedia è da rivedere) La nostra camera anche se vecchia era comunque pulita e molto spaziosa (eravamo in 3). Colazione molto misera e la sala era anche triste e buia. Nel complesso non posso lamentare nulla. Non ci tornerei.

The staff went above and beyond, they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel exterior is stunning and the room was exactly what we needed. An easy 15 minute walk to the city center. We will definitely come back next time we go to Canterbury!

Shower didn't work, no fridges in the rooms which doesn't suit needs of customers, restaurant area for breakfast was so hot too

The hotel is a bit dated but currently undergoing renovation so we upgraded to one of their finished rooms which was really nice, I think if they continue the great look and feel for the rest of the hotel it's going to look really nice. Hotel felt safe and within walking distance to Canterbury town centre only 10 minutes away. Breakfast was good but dining room requires updating so be good to see once all the work has been carried out. Keep up the good work.

The staff were wonderful, really polite and helpful even offering to help get bags up. There was renovations going on so the dining options were limited but the pizzas they were making were lovely. Convenient for getting into town and the rooms were comfortable and cosy.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff were helpful and catered to our needs. This is our second stay at the hotel and the improvements look good.

The refurbished parts ofvthe hotel are very high standard the rest should be finished early next year. Breakfast was lovely, cooked to order.

Great stay
Really enjoyed our stay here. Bedroom was clean and comfortable and we slept really well. 20 mins walk to the city so good location.

Clean, comfortable and convenient
Stay was good but unfortunately bar and restaurant closed for refurbishment. Perhaps price should have reflected this although pizzas and limited drinks were offered on room service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Poor design in bathroom as wash hand basin was far too high with bowl set on top of high vanity unit with towel rail set immediately in front attached to unit. Better signage needed on approach to hotel.

Stayed in a refurbished room which was cosy and excellent condition - the hotel is being refurbished so no bar or restaurant but know that on booking - great location to the centre

The hotel looks scruffily and uninviting from the road . The sign was almost hidden with overgrown bushes etc , but the hotel itself is good , clean with nice comfortable rooms , halls and a lift . It’s a good base for exploring Canterbury .

Comfortable stay but breakfast was seriously poor
The check in was great and the desk staff were excellent. The room was clean but very tired and dated, the room could seriously do with a makeover. and the view from our room was somewhat disappointing. The breakfast service was appalling, we stayed for three nights and not once was our order correct., worse being on our second day I ordered plant based bacon as I am a vegetarian and I was served real dead pig 😒. The other two days neither me or my wife were served what we had ordered.. We had a drink in the bar one evening and the barman (French guy I believe) was very good, excellent service.

Nice night away
Nice hotel within walking distance of the town centre, with plenty of on site parking. Our room was spacious, with 2 comfy chairs - a definite plus. We enjoyed both the dinner and breakfast. A good place to stay for a night away.

Location was good about 20 minute walk to heart of the city. Fantastic independent shops and lovely little cafes and pubs. Hotel was dated and tired looking. It was ideal for location and a couple of nights stop over, but no wow factor.
