Staff and premises were top knotch.i had family come vist and swim for a bit and they were welcoming to my guest.The manager and staff complimented eachother.very good work= physicaly and socially..room was clean smelled good nothing out of place.. 18 years ago, my wife and I stayed in the honeymoon suite and it was wonderful. This time, we had the opportunity to stay there with our son and it was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and immediately took care of getting us checked-in so that we could make in time for our niece’s graduation. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Cape Girardeau, MO. Blessings to you! Robert and Katherine M.

This is an old property. Its very nostalgic walking in to the well maintained atrium that feels like the 80s. Not everything is great. The replacement vinyl floor in our room was loose in places and our fridge was dead. The AC was very noisy as well. Still, it was clean, the staff was very friendly and the complimentary breakfast was very good. Again, the atrium common area was very comfortable and our room opened to this nice interior space. They also have an indoor pool which we didnt use, but it looked nice. All in all, this was a good experience and i would use them again given the room rate was noticeably less than adjacent hotels.

Everything was fine for the most part. Hardwood floors were interesting. The toilet ran. The air conditioner made an awful rachet at times. Pet friendly, free breakfast, cute amenities. Will definitely go back.

Pool was open to all the rooms no ceiling so the whole place smelled like chlorine. Sheets had oil stains on them, chair in room was dirty and ripped refrigerator was very noisy as well as heater. No fan in bathroom, breakfast was nice except the tables were not wiped and were very dirty. Hard to find a clean table to eat at.

Had several ball teams staying there so it was loud in the evenings, not much the hotel staff could do - they kept coming back out of their rooms. Otherwise clean and had very helpful friendly staff.

Don't stay if you need internet while you are there. Good place to keep the kids occupied with the pool. There is highway noise, but otherwise it wasn't too bad. I did not hear the people above or around me. Only those outside since weather-stripping doors to seal them (as well as making sure they are hung properly) is no longer a thing with American hotels. If you have registration or basic room issues, the staff is excellent. LeighAnn went above and beyond to help us with an unexpected delay to leaving. (Sidewall got punched out on the tire.) My only other issue was the internet, and nothing was done to fix that. The network for the hotel is set up wrong, the access point serving my location was not connected to the rest of the network, and the advertised ethernet connection does not exist. There is a jack but it isn't wired to anything at all. With access, I could have fixed it. With instruction, staff could not. All of this is on the property owner. It isn't a provider issue (althought the Spectrum connection is too slow for the amount of rooms they have.) This is the internal networking being setup wrong. I will not stay again, because I require working internet. If that is not mandatory for you, then Auburn Place should be a great place for you.

Once again I really stay there because I just like the old school layout of the interior rooms even though sometimes I stay in the outer perimeter exterior rooms. It's a nice clean hotel property. I still keep coming back to your breakfast though... Especially that sausage product is just almost inedible and then it's mixed in with the gravy and it ruins the gravy and I can deal with the gravy plain with biscuits but that sausage product. At least give us a break on that. I don't know who made the decision on that or if it's another regional flavor profile and I've been all over the US and I've never encountered this... and everybody I look around takes a bite of it and then they sort of like look at each other and that's about the only bite they take.

We stayed one night on our way to Texas and like it so much that we stayed another night on our way back home. Wish we had had a king size bed but none were available. We liked the layout of the hotel. The rooms were clean with no hardwood and tile floors (no carpet) a mini fridge and a coffee machine, we enjoyed the gym room and the pool... Breakfast buffet was standard cold and hot selection nothing fancy but satisfying every kind of diet.

The room was clean. The hotel was clean and kept up, the area had a good choice for food establishments, right off the highway for easy access. The hotel offered a complimentary hot breakfast that was good with a variety of hot and cold items. For the price- this was a excellent option for the overnight say we needed while traveling

This is the 1st time we have stayed here and will definitely stay here in the future. It is a very unique hotel. Auburn Place is very welcoming as soon as you walk through the door.
