“I had booked a room with a walk-in shower because I use a cane but found the bed in the allotted room was a bit too high for me, as I told the night manager. The very next day, Tom Jennings, the overall manager, on his own arranged an”accessible” room for me with a lower bed as well. I was so very grateful to him. The hotel is undergoing renovations, but the staff and manager made me feel very welcome. I recommend the hotel highly. ”

“The rooms here are basic and the only heating is a wall mounted convection heater, so my room felt cold to start with. But, what more do you want from a place if the sole purpose it to have somewhere to sleep for the night? “I did not like trying to get to the hotel which is situated on the grounds a public university. One entrance from a main Street was blocked off and you had to go find another one to get into it There is a big sign at this entrance to the university that points to you to the hotel and the GPS send you there.
