Great stay! People are very friendly. Take into account that there is $300 convenience fee due at the time of stay that is apart of the resort fee. Has to be done on a credit card. Not listed on site but great information to have so you know what to expect when setting up a booking. It will be refunded back but you have to have it in order to stay.

Very inconvenient to do anything in San Diego. Shared rides cost $20-35 to go anywhere out of Coronado. Hotel was meh - room booked on Expedia faced a parking lot. Room was fine.

We enjoyed sitting on our balcony overlooking the Bay. The view was nice, the privacy was great and close to the beach off Pomona Blvd. We had a great experience ordering pizza from the Village Pizzeria that came right to our room. The staff was fantastic.

This is a lovely hotel with beautiful views. It is located within walking distance to the Ferry Landing and the restaurants and shops there. I was not happy about the nightly cost of parking. The little “sofa bed” in the room was all springs. My daughter could not sleep on it at all. There was no room service available while we were there and the coffee maker in the room was not good quality. They need to replace with machines that make good quality coffee. Add room service and replace the mattresses on the sofa beds before I would say it is a 5 star hotel.

High resort and parking fees. In spite of high resort fees, housekeeping is average. Missing condiments in room. Missing placing water bottles, No shower gel. Did not replenish for 3 days in-spite of repeated reminders

The entire property and facility were excellent. the convenience of nearby establishments was also appealing. The cleanliness was outstanding too. However, I felt slighted by the check-in representative when I was told that the room I had reserved did not offer a view, and I would have to pay an additional $75.00 night.

Great for viewing holiday boat parade!
We booked a 1 night stay and enjoyed the free bike rentals & pickleball court access. It was the night of the holiday boat parade so we were able to watch all of the festive boats sail by right from our balcony. It was really a memorable holiday stay for our family!

This was our second stay here and it was pretty disappointing this time. The property is old and becoming a little run down. Our room had paint bubbles on the ceiling from a previous leak, stained carpet, the toilet rocked on the wax seal and the safe was broken. The restaurant, bar and resort staff were friendly but inattentive and slow to provide service. Part of the main pool area was under construction so it was loud and not relaxing. Fortunately there’s another pool on the property that was better.

Fine, but know before you go.
A little overpriced for their current condition. Worn / torn upholstery on furniture in room and some spots/stains. Nice view and resort in general if not looking for luxury stay. Should note that bay view rooms facing their lawn area be aware they host events so business dinners/weddings are part of your view and if plan on R&R on your patio/deck that can be disruptive. Parts of property were cluttered with overflow storage, mostly in the parking area so not an eyesore for general environment. No show-stoppers, but I would want to know before I booked. The bay view and the walkable area were fantastic.

Overall, this is a great property. We only stayed for 2 nights and it was a busy trip so I know we weren't able to take advantage of many of the amenities that were available to us. Our room was very spacious and clean -- it did smell a little musty when we arrived but that went away by the next day. The parking is a little sparse --- it is underneath the resort so it is secure, but we were there on a night that they had an event so we ended up having to park really far away from where our room was. The location is great -- right off the water and has access to the boardwalk which is only about 10 minutes away from restaurants and shopping. The resort fees were a bit of a bummer for us since we couldn't take advantage of them but I would imagine they are worth it (we really wanted to rent some bikes for a couple hours which would have been great to use in the area but didn't have time). The staff were all very friendly and professional. We'd definitely consider staying here again!

We always love staying at this property. The staff are amazing and it’s convenient to shopping, dining and the ferry to San Diego. The pool area is fantastic with its bar and outdoor dining. Bed is comfortable and the bathroom is nicely updated.

Loved the property and the closeness to the water, walking, and convenience. It’s an updated beautiful facility. It gets a bit loud for short periods with helicopters and barges blowing their horns in the am. We will definitely come back.

The original room they put us in had spiders in the sheets of the bed. Then they moved us to another room. The condition of the hotel overall needs to be renovated. All of the interior walls look to be original plaster and show signs of water damage in areas. The carpeting was disgusting and felt sticky under our feet, so we just wore our sandals when walking in the room. I don't think we'll go back to this hotel.

Rundown Hotel, Not Maintained, Swindle Money
I worked at this property when it was Le Meridian. I was excited to visit the property again only to be so disappointed. The hotel is so rundown, service and attitudes are terrible. I’m reading many reviews where they are saying the same thing. They check in and they don’t get the room that they thought they were going to get. The front desk tries to tack on $90 for the view that they already paid for. The same thing happened to me. The property itself is not maintained whatsoever. The restaurant railing is all chipped and peeled, the landscaping is dead and dry, people have left all of their room, service items near the ice bins and they were there for three days. Nobody picked it up. The water features used to have fountains turned on, and it was flowing and beautiful when it was owned by Le Meridian. Now none of the fountains work it’s all covered and algae and it’s absolutely disgusting. My room was $500. It’s worth about $120. There was also an empty restaurant in the morning for breakfast. I asked if I could sit in the corner on a four top because I have business to do on my laptop. She said no. I watched and nobody came for breakfast. It was ridiculous. I could go on and on about how awful this hotel has become, but I advise people not to book with this hotel.

The hotel did not give me the room I paid for. When I arrived they said mine wasn’t ready but that they would put me in a room with two queen beds. I said no and insisted on a king sized bed. Then the room the front desk gave me was a courtyard view when I paid for the bay view. When I complained they claimed orbitz allowed over booking of the bay view rooms and they would give me a credit. Nice room but I paid extra especially for the view of the bay and city. Don’t know who’s fault it really is but for a special night out it’s a little upsetting to not have what was paid for
