Staff was more than helpful!! Obvious a sweeper had not been run in the room due to the sand collection on your bare feet when you went to the bathroom. The window looking over the bay was so dirty you couldn’t tell if it was foggy or what! I cleaned the outside so we could enjoy the view.

The door did not close correctly. The sink did not work .... the smelly parking lot was disgusting. The shower after beach did not work. Never again this hotel.

The room (160) was deplorable. Door to pool had large unpainted areas with the paint peeling off. The sofa looked like something homeless people might sleep on. The room smelled musky and mildewy. We left. Would never stay in a place in this condition.

For starters the property is old, it needs to be renovated. The furniture was rusted but that’s what happens when you’re by the beach. the ac did not cool down enough, The hot water did not work if it did it ran for a minute or two. there were No elevators, however the staff made our stay better because they were super attentive, and did their best to fix the problem. I would probably stay again, especially if all I’m doing is going to the beach with my dog, this place is pet friendly, and my dog and I enjoyed our time at the beach, besides the beach there’s not much in that area to do anyways. I will say this location is walking distance to the beach, few restaurants/bars, walking distance to souvenir shopping, walking distance to the aquarium, and walking distance to the USS Lexington museum. Overall all our stay here was just ok. If you’re high maintenance, this is not the place for you.

The front desk staff was very nice and they had a decent breakfast but thats where the pleasantries end. The lock on our window was broken and we were on the first floor in a sketchy area so we didnt feel safe while we were sleeping with our two kids in the room. There was no tv service in the whole building we were in. They said it was in the process of being replaced. The washer and dryers were broken. Our bathroom door didnt stay shut. The pillows were half the size of a normal pillow and felt like they were filled with browkn pillow pieces. The whole place was in a state of disrepair. The location was great and it had a pool that was nice but the hotel itself was terrible. Will never stay there again.

This was a horrible experience, I wish I could give a -5 stars. The shower was full of hairs from previous guests, and buggers on the walls of the shower. When asked the front desk, they said that nothing could be done since the hotel was fully booked and we needed to cancel the stay through Expedia (which was not true since check-in time has passed) and that we should leave if we weren't happy. The hotel stinks and very old looking with paint peeling everywhere. The locks of the rooms didn't work, the ac didn't work, just plain horrible. This hotel is not in conditions whatsoever for functioning. I wanted a little vacation which turned to be a nightmare.

This property was subpar. There were roaches in the room, the back door leading to the pool area had a large gap at the top allowing the outside air in, we had to shove a towel between the door. There is also no mirror in the bathroom, the shower head popped off when attempting to use, the bathtub did not drain, the bathroom was not properly stocked, the showers for use for coming back from the beach did not work. Has potential but overall it’s a shanty place.

Room 106 should be put out of service. Need a Maintenance Engineer & Head Housekeeping for inspection of each and every room before renting. Staff was excellent (Linda, Maintenance Gentleman & another person) they did try to fix issues of flooding from shower, tv issues and etc. but the entire property and each room need attention.

It was an excellent location and convenient when travelling with pet. However, the property itself is in major need of a Maintenance Engineer and renovation and or daily room, maintenance checklist and Housekeeping Manager to check behind each housekeeper for inspection prior to room being put in system as ready. The room flooded due to shower drain, however, they did leave extra towels for floor, which was appreciated. The Staff was very friendly and tried to fix each issue the arose, but, without proper staff to correct the issues it would be impossible. We will not be staying again. Linda & Staff was excellent and tried their best and should be recognized for their effort.

Hotel itself is in poor condition, most pool chairs are broken, handles on doors falling apart and pool is dirty. Staff was friendly and location is great. For the price would probably stay again.

I will never go here again. Beach front next to an aircraft carrier??? No thanks. That was definitely not told in the description. The furniture was all from 20 years ago and worn. The bathroom was unsanitary. I should get a refund.

The establishment had misplaced my prepaid reservation through Expedia from 7 months prior. Thankfully, Expedia CS was able to resolve. Service desk walls were dirty. Walls in room were dirty and dust was found on furniture. In room coffee maker did not work. Trash was found on floor in room. 2 bugs were smashed in room. Hot tub was not hot. Location was excellent.

Not recommended, bad for families
The hotel is very bad and stinks badly. I really didn't know it would be that bad and only looked at the beach access as plus point. I booked for two nights but literally left the hotel in 30 mins and booked somewhere else. It was not possible to stay/sleep in this hotel. Comparing to the price I paid for this hotel, I got a really nice bay view hotel for 2 nights in just $100 more so their pricing is way to high for what they have to offer. Very bad experience and would not recommend to any family.

This hotel is rundown and a total dump. Sink counter was hanging from the wall and uneven. The strike plate for the bathroom door knob was broken, door would not close. Safety lock for main door broken, no security. Floors were dirty, sand everywhere. Door to balcony was uneven and messed up, hard to open and close. Windows had paint all over them, walls had been patched, a 3 year old cold have done a better job. Metal trim on bottom of door was pulled loose and a safety hazard. Main restroom down stairs was out-of-order. Swimming pool was absolutely disgusting, with stuff floating all over in it, looked like skin. The bottom was rough and uneven and very dirty. Looked like the filter system wasnt even working. The outside of the hotel, waa run down and just looked old. For the money you can find a better place to stay would not recommend. They must of had 1 great room that they took all there pictures from, cause our room looked nothing like, what was on the website.

the hotel is completely run down. my bathroom curtain was broken, the doors wouldn't completely close, the smell was somewhay tolerable... when i arrived they couldnt find my reservation. i know i used my points and paid partially out of pocket... but honesty I feel like that was a waste of points and money. needs some major updates. no security at all. this hotel seems like its rented by the hour... thats how bad i would not stay there anymore. this hotel should not be an option on hotels.com.

Absolutely DISGUSTING!!! Our room was completely full of black mold, it was on all the baseboards, the walls, the entire bathroom. You could tell they tried to wipe some of it off in some places and spray painted it over in other places. The mini fridge door was nearly rusted completely through. The bed was dirty and covered in stains. When I brought this up to the front desk staff the lady working laughed at me and brushed it off like it wasn’t a big deal and refused to refund my money! People were also partying, listening to loud music and drinking in the parking lot the whole time I was there. I have absolutely no idea how they pass any health code checks. This place needs to be shut down immediately!

Breakfast area bathroom was out of order,so inconvenient when at the pool/Breakfast. Mold in ceiling room and dead roach was found by my daughter in our room. Staff was nice, but lack the equipment to properly clean the rooms...etc (broom on carpet,instead of vacuum) we basically just slept there since we spent all our time at the beach/pool. Needs a serious remodel.
