“We arrived after spending a week in Belfast - brilliant place butpacked and full of the bustle of the city. Donegal was the polar opposite. The house is in the most beautiful spot imaginable- you couldn’t tire of that view in a hundred lifetimes and I even saw the sun come up a couple of mornings. Loads to do in the area but equally perfect for sitting back and soaking up the absolute, hear a pin drop quiet. Idyllic. House was beautifully and stylishly equipped and extremely comfortable....

“Tired in places, great potential”

“The Cottage was overfilled with the owners possesions, which is understandable to a point, but finding a strangers clothes in the closet is not pleasant. And we had the feeling there was no room for ourselves. The landscape was beautiful and we will visite ireland again, but unfortunatly we woud not return to that cottage.”

“Smooth rental booking from start to finish. The house is in a beautiful setting. Garden has the wow factor. The house is a good space and well laid out. However it could do with some work, some maintenance issues and a little grubby in places ( especially plates, glasses and cutlery - and downstairs bathroom has a damp smell ) Has the potential to be really great, just needs a little TLC and some extra touches like some extra blankets, some candles etc”

“The cottage is very cute and gives the experience of an authentic Irish country cottage however it wasn’t as tidy as a renter should expect and we had issues with the hot water and radiator heat the entire time of our stay. We addressed the issues with the owner and he tried to rectify the hot water and heating but we never had consistency the entirety of our stay. We also brought up the tidiness issue right away, we cleaned up ourselves, and he said he would address it with his housekeeping...

Knowledgeable staff spent hours helping me trace the location of my Irish ancestors and connected me to transportation staff to visit them. More than a room an experience!”

Both the house and the surrounding area are absolutely beautiful. The house had everything that our family of five needed, and it would certainly accommodate at least two families.
