The Economy "Small Queen Room" is in fact a small room. Dimensions are online also on your Expedia booking confirmation. That 's also why it is the 'cheapest' room available. Downtown proper is 2.2 miles south as located on Google maps show -that also shows we are indeed next to the highway out of town. EVERY single room has a microwave and a mini fridge. We are on the lower midscale pricing for town... even on Holiday's. Of note; There are no notations on the reservation of your disapproval or asking to cancel. Our guys ask everyone, I mean everyone, regularly how they are and make notes for issues such as this. Take care, safe travels Major.

We are 2.2 miles north of downtown proper but there is the Durango Trolley that picks up and drops off 2 doors south for a nominal fee. Cheaper than feeding the hungry parking meters downtown. We appreciate your sharing with other travelers your experience here AND the Kudos for the guys!! The goal has always been to be different- but better. Concentrating on what matters the most: comfort, cleanliness, helpful and approachable staff.Following COVID we feel travelers are looking for an EXPERIENCE: beautiful sights, diversity of foods/drinks, a variety of things to do- hiking, biking, rafting, skiing, train ride… and human kindness – that is Durango Colorado! "Posh" would not equate to the least expensive 'Small Queen room'. Yes, we are a modest (2-star) Historic Motel. The reviews are based on the cleanliness and outstanding guest service. Take care.
