Hi Russell, Thank you for staying with us last week. I looked into your account and I see you were only authorized 200 on your credit card and it wasn't actually a charge. Authorizations are refunded at check out and processed by your banks standard refund timelines. Unfortunately, requiring a major credit card and authorizing that funds are available on a security deposit card are standard practice across all hotels in some capacity. This is generally for the security of our properties and often required by our brands / ownership to protect their investments in the property, which we can appreciate.We hope you enjoyed yourself, besides requiring a valid credit card to process an authorization.

For our beds , they are on the firmer side, but we do offer padded toppers for more comfort to those who prefer it. HI Paula, Thanks for your review. We did have some work done on our water tanks that required a morning shut down and refill which would have cause the lines to drain and refill with cold water. And being further away from the central boilers does make it take time for water to reach its intended location. Trust me, i know how annoying that can be! The next time you book be sure to request a first or second floor room, these areas are prone to get the hot first! (a little insider scoop lol). Thank you again for your review.
