La villa e' sicuramente molto bella, ottimamente tenuta e gestita da personale cortese e professionale. La stanza luminosa, ampia e molto silenziosa, e' molto confortevole. Eccessivamente oneroso il costo del parcheggio interno e della colazione.

One night stay in the Champagne region
Perfect location if you want to stay in Epernay, also very convenient to travel to Reims. Hotel has a nicely and classy decorated rooms, we stayed in room 1 which is a Superior on the ground floor. The parking lot in front is very convenient. The bar is always open but dinner and lunch are not served in the hotel, only breakfast for a surcharge of ca. 20€. Location is perfect and you can easily walk to all the Champagne houses on the avenue.

Wonderful staff and beautiful property, but space in rooms not quite functional. Had to move around sideways in certain spaces. Difficult to shower without door opening and soaking floor. At 5'6", I was fine, but my 6'2" husband kept bumping into everything 😂

A premiere cru of a place to stay
A truly elegant and sophisticated place to stay. The welcome was very warm and efficient. Our room was beautifully appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only downside was when we asked reception to book us into a restaurant that had been highly recommended to us the young man on duty was not helpful and booked us into another restaurant (which was okay) giving us the reason that the restaurant was fully booked, however when we went into our preferred restaurant after having eaten at the restaurant he had booked we found out that there would have been a table available to us at the time we wanted. The staff at breakfast time were an absolute delight and cheerfully accommodated our choices

We loved the pool, but the traffic is quite loud so it’s hard to really relax by the pool. Walking distance to everything. We were charged for parking which wasnt ideal. I think we were charged for 2 days of parking although it was really 24 hours ( one day) as we had only booked one night. Staff were very friendly and eager to show us around the property.

Det var ett mysigt litet personligt hotell. Med parkering i garaget mot avg. Vilket var viktigt för oss. Ägaren var väldigt hjälpsam och vänlig. Rummet litet men mysigt. Rent och fint skön säng, frukosten jätte god med hemgjord yoghurt bla. Tack.

Historic, beautiful villa with well-maintained decor, rooms, and common areas. The location was also amazing, within walking distance of many attractions and Epernay's downtown.We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back soon...we also have to mention the friendly and very professional staff, who assisted and served us throughout our stay...special thanks go to Magalie / Réceptionniste - she started her amazing support even before we arrived...Thank you for making our experience a special one...All the best...

The lady at the check in was great, but unfortunately downhill from there. We had a standard room which was larger then expected for EU but the room and decor were very tired. A/C was broken in all the standard rooms we were told so we had a temporary portable one in the room. It was huge and super noisy. The location was not as good as we thought as well as on a busy road and far from town. (It was great for visiting Mercier winery though)

Charmante villa bien située, petit déjeuner correct avec des produits faits maison. Dommage que le personnel soit digne d'un Formule 1. Pas d'accueil, pas d'explication sur le fonctionnement du séjour, pas de mention que le parking est payant (on nous revenvoit à la lecture de la fiche de l'hôtel en ligne), une climatisation d'appoint ultra bruyante grossièrement installée dans la chambre. Globalement cher pour pour la prestation.

While Villa Eugene was picturesque from the outside, the property itself is not a five star property by any stretch of the imagination. The location is, at least, very nearby many of the famed champagne houses and only a short walk or drive from the little downtown of Epérnay. The hotel is very understaffed - often nobody was at the front desk or available to answer the phone or for a question by the pool. To that end, we often had to look around the property for someone and we were then chastised for simply wandering around the house or the grounds. The blonde woman (who is apparently the owner) is extremely unfriendly. We were constantly criticized or questioned for simple requests or questions. It’s as if we were inconveniencing her for paying to stay here. Overall, we did not feel welcome - if she was nearby, she watched us as if we were children or as if she expected us to steal something. The rest of the staff is very friendly, but it’s clear they do not enjoy working for/with this woman. We were also told we cannot drink anything from the outside in the hotel area and must purchase everything from the hotel bar, despite being in Champagne (where the point is to taste and buy at various wineries and champagne houses and then enjoy your purchases). An absurd policy - most hotels have a bar or a shop or room service and they do not ban you from drinking your own drinks. It is not recommended for our guests to consume their own drinks in the common areas of the hotel (pool and bar) but is allowed in private rooms and terraces. It is also forbidden to serve yourself in the bar of the establishment. The service was amazing. I would highly recommend staying there. Nicola the concierge was super helpful. We had a small issue with our A/C the first night, and he took care of it at 11pm, which was supposed to be his time to leave. In general the whole staff care about their guest having an exceptional experience. We did not eat on site, so I can not comment on the food.

Nice location
The hotel is out of the city centre and the surroundings quiet. You can relax around the pool if the weather is ok. Not too far to walk to the city centre of to visit the champagne houses right next to the hotel.
