“Their usage of Real estate lock boxes on every door in the property was very annoying. Each time someone would open/shut their door it caused a loud thud. The coffee machine was not cleaned out and had something growing in it. There was no air conditioning which was not well advertised IMO and the fan was loud. It said property has a Mountain View, that’s just incorrect. Nothing but trees. ”

“The unit was infested with flies, there were 5 dead ones in the toilet when I got there. And new ones came back daily. The trash can was dirty and broken. This isn't an apartment. It is a motel room with a refrigerator in it. There is no kitchen sink, so you have to wash your dishes in the bathroom (yuk!). I could not connect to the Internet with the info provided. However, the bed was comfortable.”

“Property is in a remote area. Not much to do around there. Stayed one night. Sadly we couldnt get the ceiling heater to heat, was chilly, had to use the portable heaters which barely took the chill off. I tried calling the number given but gave up on hold after maybe 15 minutes. Place was clean but garbage can was 3/4 full when we got there.”

“Stayed 3 different times (different rooms)for work with a truck and trailer. They state "parking available for one vehicle" on the site. I could see on Google earth there is extra space in the lot. But i thought i better ask in case there was an extra fee or if i still would need to find other parking. I got the automated or bored rep response of " there is parking available for one vehicle". I ended up parking where ever i wanted and no one cared. Learning how to get into your room is pretty...

“Everything was easy and convenient for the check in process. The room as clean. We chose it also because it is pet friendly. They had a nice water dish for our dog. The location close and pleasant. There is a coffee shop right at the entrance to the premises. Delicious coffee and great service! Would definitely stay there again!”

“For days I’d beg Vacasa, the management company, to send housekeeping. The worst was when it took five days to get clean sheets after my three year old had an accident. Vacasa was not an impressive company to work with. I’d never want to stay at another one of their properties. ”

“My wife and I and a friend spent nearly a week at Oyster Lodge mostly under completely blue skies and little wind. We enjoyed the privacy, the spa, the commercial gas stove, the huge kitchen, and oystering on the beach. The large propane grill was perfect for cooking oysters in the shell. We also went clamming at the nearby WDFW tidelands near Quilcene. The 100 steps down to the beach were a little challenging, but we all made it on several occasions. “The Hood Canal Beachfront Bungalow is a great place to stay if you are looking for a few quiet days. The cabin was very clean, and everything I needed for cooking was there. I really enjoyed the fireplace and the telescope. But most of all, the quiet was amazing. I would definitely recommend!”
