A special place
The Riad Layalina in Fes is a fantastic place in a very good location few steps out of the Medina. Our room was lavishly furnished with carpets, cushions and beautiful objects arranged in a wall niche. The view from the terrace outside is very pleasant, the more as the area is really quiet. Very good also the breakfast in the patio. Jerome, the manager, and the staff are very kind and helpful, thus we would suggest this Riad to our friends.

Troppo freddo...
La struttura è bella, sicuramente con temperature miti si apprezza di più. Ma fare colazione all'esterno con il freddo non è confortevole, la camera di dimensioni piuttosto limitate ha un duro letto alla francese, gli infissi fanno entrare l'aria fredda ed il bagno, che doveva essere della camera è in realtà fuori la camera e per raggiungerlo devi passare davanti ad una finestra senza vetri,congelandoti.Il personale è gentile ma non efficiente, penso (mi auguro) perché non capiva l'inglese.Faccio piccoli esempi: chiedo una seconda coperta causa il freddo, torno e trovo la solita coperta meno la stufa che si era messo nel suo ufficio. Chiedo di prenotare un ristorante per le 21.00, andiamo e lo troviamo chiuso! Riferiamo seccati l'accaduto...non riceviamo neanche l'ombra di un mi spiace. Scopriamo all'arrivo che il raid non accetta carte di credito ma solo cash,ho detto al proprietario che questo va segnalato anche in fase di prenotazione e non solo all'arrivo...risposta : si troverà il modo!! Che si è tradotto in un : arrangiati! Perché lui se ne è disinteressato ed io a cercare bancomat abilitati per la mia carta. Sinceramente la tariffa bassa non mi ha ripagato i disagi.

accoglienza ottima
Il mio soggiorno, anche se breve, è stato piacevole. Il riad è molto bello, in una posizione facilmente raggiungibile e i due ragazzi che lo gestiscon o sono stati accoglenti e premurosi nei nostri confronti.

Tipico Riad
Riad molto carino e caratteristico, bella la corte interna con piccola piscina e fontana. Bella la camera, pulita e confortevole. Gentile il personale, sempre pronto ad aiutati per qualsiasi necessità. Molto comodo per la medina, raggiungibile in macchina con vicino parcheggio e nello stesso tempo a due passi dalla zona pedonale.

riad bello e curato, rilassante e pulito. a due passi dalle principali vie della medina, ma fuori dal trambusto. colazioni ottime e abbondanti, personale molto gentile!

POSIZIONE OTTIMA PER LA VISITA ALLA MEDINA, LA PARTE INTERESSANTE DELLA CITTA'. IL PERSONALE E' MOLTO DISPONIBILE ED ACCOGLIENTE IL RIAD E' MOLTO CARINO, ANCHE SE NON MOLTO GRANDE ATTENZIONE ALLE STANZE: A PARITA' DI DIMENSIONE DELLA STANZA SI RISCHIA DI PAGARE IL DOPPIO PER LA PRESENZA DI UN DIVANO LETTO AL POSTO DELL'ARMADIO. LE STANZE AL PRIMO PIANO NON HANNO I VETRI MA SOLO LE IMPOSTE

The epitome of Moroccan hospitality
A beautiful place, decorated with love and respect for traditional design. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Radouane helped us return our rental car, giving us a tour of the outer city that we never would have seen. He also connected us with Yassine, a great guide for the medina. Asmaa’s food was likewise excellent. And when we couldn’t finish our huge portion of couscous Friday night, they happily saved it for our Saturday dinner. I originally picked this place because I thought we would need parking for a rental car. In the end, we didn’t, but the location was still perfect for exploring the city. I would stay there again and I highly recommend it.

This was our favorite riad experience in Morocco. The location is phenomenal, the staff is awesome, breakfast was perfect. We loved our room and the amenities were great for our needs. We would’ve stayed much longer than two nights if our itinerary allowed it. We are looking forward to returning soon and bringing family.

This is a gem of a small Riad! The beautiful center courtyard, where our room faced, is light & airy and filled with amazing mosaics, stunning painted ceilings and intricate plaster reliefs. The staff was delightful and accommodating. Our room was charming, authentic, and spaceous. There is a wonderful roof deck with stunning views - this lovely Riad is a winner!

The Riad was very nice and the service was amazing, however, there was a lot of construction goin on behind it and there was a lot of noise and a big mess. During the night there was a lot of noise from dogs barking , cats figh, donkeys and the daily load prayers through the speakers that woke me up everyday around 5;30 in the mornings

Riad Layalina was everything we’d hoped for. Jerome communicated in a timely manner, the Riad was charming and the staff was very accommodating - even preparing breakfast for us at 0645 before leaving. The location is excellent.

I had a lovely stay. This was my second time. Good food and service. They look after me very well and helped to find a good driver to Chefchouen. Love them!

Like being part of a Moroccan family
Ridhouan and his family provided one of the nicest stays we've ever had. It was something like being part of the family. We showed up a little late and he had a hot home-cooked dinner waiting for us so that we wouldn't have to go out into an unfamiliar city at night. The Riad was clearly a little slow, but that meant that we got a full service experience. Staying here was like having a rent-an-uncle service. Ridhouan noticed a few issues with our rental car and offered to help get a local guy to fix a tail light at local-friendly prices. The Riad also works with a local guide, Amin, who brought us on a full day tour of the city for a quoted price of 600 Dh (~$60); more than worth it! Between Ridhouan and Amin we got our Covid tests sorted out, paperwork printed, the city explored, and we had a beautiful stay.

Riad Layalina is lovely and serene in the midst of the chaos of the medina. Morocco is still just opening up again after the covid year and i was the only guest. My room was beautiful and overlooked the courtyard. The terrace has incredible views of the city. My hosts treated me very graciously and helped me to navigate the area around the hotel. Kind people and a beautiful property!

Fantastic!
Had a great time staying at this riad. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with all our requests, food, directions, tours, shopping - you name it! The space was clean, comfortable and really had the Moroccan charm we were hoping for. It's only steps away from the medina near the car park which made it really easy to find. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the ladies make everything fresh as soon as you're seated. This was by far the best place we stayed in Morocco. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place in a great location with parking. Spotlessly clean. They met us with fruit and tea upon check in. The courtyard and the rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. The restroom is not inside the room, it’s across the hallway. I think it’s supposed to be a private bathroom but not sure as there were people using it when we first arrived. Make sure you make not of where the light switches are if you’re walking around at night, the hallways are very dark but there are switches on every floor and hallway. Great views from the upstairs patios. We booked a last minute tour through the riad and they were very helpful. The guide was nice, very soft spoken so a bit hard to hear in the loud Medina. Got some history and the usual stops to hear sales pitches but not too much pressure from the vendors. The riad kept our bags after check out and had a taxi to the airport after the tour. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel located right inside the Medina of Fes, and has its own parking lot which is really convenient for self-driving travelers, the room is great and food is amazing too.

Had a fabulous 2 night stay at Riad Layalina. Very close to the Medina and other main tourist sights. Room itself was lovely, very traditional and the view from the rooftop terrace is beautiful. The service was great, and nothing was too much trouble, highly recommend.

Location is at entrance to big parking area just outside an entrance to the Fes medina. The welcome food and breakfast were delicious. Our suite was very nice. The main common area is beautiful. Only downsides were some noise from road and parking lot and that the parking lot doesn't provide same ambience as staying inside the walls of old Fes.

From the moment we arrived Bilal looked after us and assisted us with anything we required. Layalina is a gorgeous Riad close to the Medina and all you need in fes. It was a perfect stay. Jerome is a thoughtful host. Highly recommend.

We loved the riad, they are very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, the room very clean and the location very good because it was a two minute walk from the medina. We recommend it!
