This property I chose because they indicated they were "dog friendly". They were not only dog friendly, they go out of their way to accommodate guests with dogs. The "dog" rooms are situated at the end of a hallway away from other guests on the first floor. They are adjacent to an exit door that leads out onto a lush green area the size of half a football field perfect for walking your dog to give opportunity for pottying. I will definitely be staying here again!

Hotel is average as far as hotels go in a small town. Building is clean with friendly and helpful staff. The negative: No elevator in this hotel.

We were given a 2nd floor room and told the first floor was sold out . There were very few cars in the lot so could not possibly been sold out. There is no elevator! We hauled a cooler of food and all our luggage up a flight of stairs ( we are 4 senior ladies) THEN we got calls from front desk for noise complaints at only 6:00 pm! We never played music , no tv on ( it didn’t work) and got harassed from the room below with pounding on their ceiling to our floor and scared the crap out of us ! This was followed by a second call from front desk for noise complaint again , early evening , and we were simply talking and getting ready for dinner . Beds were very good, but tub base squeaked loudly, breakfast was minimal( but fine) shampoo and all provided in the shower was nice, outlets were odd and only half worked, tv remote did not work.A plus was walking distance to the Fireside Theater , which is why we chose this hotel.

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies.We were almost full; however, cars were parked across all carpark as we have a big car park so you might not have noticed all area.The remote was working but the key of the remote was stuck which was swapped with the new one.

Perfect location for attending a show at the Fireside. Very efficient registration. Hot tub was very nice with extended hours. Room spacious, bed was luxurious. Hall ways are worn and older, they don't advertise as 5 star. I truly felt it was a great value.

Itt looked like they were remodeling the room and were not finished. i.e. no bath towel racks. The door was old and had no dead bolt or slide lock. No tv guide. However, it was very clean and comfortable.

It was great. We had a room next to a doorway which was convenient for walking our dog. Everything was clean. It really liked the window coverings…dual shades. The shower was easy to control. I would have liked a bar to hang onto…something I think all rooms should be required to have. Breakfast offered hot food. I was happy to see bananas! For us, being right next door to the Fireside was the added bonus.

The hallway smelled of stale cigarettes. The bathroom was looking neglected. The staff were helpful. The breakfast was well looked after by staff.

Property is well maintained. Accommodating, good breakfast. One suggestion - the second night of our stay, the people (family) in the room above were noisy when walking and could be heard in the middle of the night. The hotel did not seem to be very full and would suggest staggering the rooms when possible, like not next to another and not above a room when possible.

We stay here once a year when we see our annual play at the fireside. It is a no frill hotel in a perfect location if you are going to a play next door.

The gentlemen working at the front desk were very pleasant and welcoming. For the price, the property was a great find! I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. We didn't really make use of anything other than the room as it was just a quick overnight trip, so I can't comment on the rest of the property but it seemed clean and well-maintained. It was right next door to the Fireside dinner theater, which was awesome....we just walked across the parking lot and we were there! It was great! Also, didn't make it down for breakfast but it appeared it was a "full" breakfast, which would have been just fine. Again, great room for the price, and very nice people working there.

Nice little hotel
I booked late at night- near 11pm. I think rate should have been lower since I was there so short of time. The man who was at counter was very pleasant & helpful. He was still there in morning for breakfast & remembered me. Very nice guy- your welcoming & happy attitude was great! Thank you! Breakfast was fresh pancakes in a cool machine I've never seen - unique & impressive. Would've liked some eggs, sausage & fruit- there wasn't any unless it was gone? Breakfast kept open until 930am for a Sunday ( thankfully due to my arrival time!). Pancakes were very good! Shower in room is dated & needed some repairs - grout/caulk around edges & clean off the mold growing on the seams! The floor squeaks, too. Both in my room & the next one because their shower woke me up. I had a beetle crawl out of a hole in the shower seam where caulk & cleaning is needed. Shower curtain had someone's black fingerprints all over it. I pulled down the shower curtain & left notes so these 2 things would be cleaned for the next guest & hopefully always from today forward. Room & bathroom were otherwise immaculate with bed & pillows comfortable! Dark shades on window & pretty good coffee. Room smelled fresh, too, when I came in. It was nice!
