Perfect hotel for relax out of the mess
There was a very nice Beach and in the afternoon you can take a bath in the sea because there is high tide and there in a wonderful sunset with music and a lot of people

Grande resort ma niente mare (almeno ad agosto!)
Cose positive: Grande resort, con spazi comuni molto curati , una bella piscina e un buon ristorante sulla spiaggia comodo e dai prezzi contenuti perfetto se non si ha voglia di attraversare l'isola in bici per raggiungere il lato del porto dove ci sono gli altri locali. Personale gentilissimo. Cose negative: Stanza spartana, bagno da dimenticare. Il mare non è usufruibile (ripeto, almeno nella stagione di Agosto) in quanto la bassa marea è fissa e quindi per fare il bagno bisogna necessariamente andare dall'altra parte dell'isola con le Bici (5 o 10€/bici al giorno in base al modello disponibile) . La sveglia alle 9 per pulire la camera, non ci sono cartellini "non disturbare" ne chiavi elettroniche quindi giustamente gli inservienti non possono sapere se siete in camera e devono bussare a tutte le porte. (Risolto creandomi un cartello non disturbare "fai da te") ! Raggiungere l'albergo a piedi con le valigie è impossibile, ma si può pagare un carretto con cavallo che vi ci porta (8€). Wi-Fi c'è ma valido giusto per whatsapp per il resto è troppo lento. Comunque vista la "semplicità" dell'isola, è un buon posto dove soggiornare, se preso a un prezzo.

Nonostante tutto...eccellente
Il conto della lavanderia inizialmente mi ha fatto venir voglia di creare una brutta recensione poi, effettivamente non sarebbe corretto. Altra nota negativa su cui mi sono ricreduto sono le formiche in camera. Me ne sono ricreduto perchè ho visto che Gili è praticamente infestata da questi animaletti e non li ritengo comunque schifosi. Tutta la struttura è davvero un bijoux, persa in un enorme oasi di pace e di verde, bungalow fantastici e camere al pari livello. Personale gentilissimo e disponibilissimo anche se parecchio lento (passo sopra anche su questo punto perchè a quanto pare la lentezza è una nota comune). Le camere a parte le formiche sempre perennemente pulite, anche 2 o 3 volte al giorno e i bagni forniti di ogni comfort, mobilio rifinitissimo. Prezzo competitivo se paragonato al resto dell'offerta. La piscina e il ventaglio di servizi rendono l'hotel praticamente un piccolo paesello indipendente.

The property was great. Good food , helpful staff. Front desk service was excellent. At the spa they advertised chin and lip wax for $10 but the lady charged me $20. Although it was only $10 it seemed deceitful. The island itself has so many people you couldn’t ride your push bike down the road. Just too overcrowded in the street and at the port for me to ever return

Hotel not as shown in photos at all. Buildings missing and run down. Had to move hotel after one night due to how bad the property was. Bed sheets had holes in them and sun loungers had stains.

Nice place for the money
It was nice however it wasn't the cleanest of rooms. We had a Lizard friends that joined us in the room and there some bugs. Sunsets were beautiful, and it was a hike to the busy area of the island. We asked for bikes but they didn't have any. There was hot water and an outdoor shower which was nice better and better than other places we stayed on the island.

Grundsätzlich handelt es sich um eine eigentlich sehr tolle Unterkunft mit luxuriöser Aufmachung, guter (ruhiger) Lage und toller Aussicht! Die Bungalows werden vom Personal sehr sauber gehalten und liebevoll jeden Tag wieder aufs Neue aufgefrischt und dekoriert. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt! Einziges Manko ist, dass die Außenanlage wieder einer Renovierung Bedarf bzw. mehr gepflegt werden müsste so wie das Partnerhotel Villa Ombak.

Paradise at Ombak Sunset
We arrived to a very warm welcome. The beautiful hotel had suffered badly in 2019 with the earthquake and they have done amazingly well to get it back to its former glory. The staff are warm and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We had five days here and wished we could have stayed another five. The hotel is situated in a prime position to see the sunset. The pool is as warm as a bath and such a leisurely vibe about. The gardeners work very hard to make sure the place looks like the tropical paradise it is. We stayed in the garden bungalows which are amazing like being in your own private Balinese house. The outside bathroom is lovely but as we are there in the rainy season of course there are many mozzies. The hotel sprays regularly and provides insect repellents and plug in . Breakfast was varied but would have preferred to be able to make my own tea as I found it too weak and tasteless. I had my own tea bags but no hot water I suppose I could have asked but really boiling water is necessary and it wouldn’t have been boiling if they had to bring it to me.

I stayed at this hotel on a recommendation from a few years ago and sadly the hotel facilities were not as I had hoped. While I can see that the location has a lot of unrealised potential, the price to stay here was not reflective of the current state of the hotel. We were very disappointed that there was no restaurant on site and the bar was only open by the pool. Since there was little to do around the hotel, we rented bikes from the hotel to get to the other side of the island where all the restaurants, scuba diving and snorkelling tours leave from. The "road" is in very rough shape, filled with potholes and is shared by bikes, pedestrians and horse buggies, and it is not lit should you brave riding your bike at night like we did! All in all it was quite the experience on Gili T!

I like the atmosphere and the hotel design which is so comfortable and luxury but the location is a bit too far from the island center also there is a lot of mosquito especially in the opened roof bathroom style so they should have some mechanic to prevent the mosquito and other insects. The staffs were very nice and helpful.

It's not worth it
The hotel is nice, the beach is not private as mentioned in Hotels.com. It was full of people from outside the hotel and many people selling things and offering pictures and excursions. Not the best experience when you want to just relax on the beach. Breakfast is really bad and the service also. Please see the picture of a dead mosquito in the cheese during breakfast.

We had a great experience. Staff was really nice and friendly. I really appreciate a little birthday cake that I received after I mentioned to one of the staff members. I think it was really thoughtful and lovely gesture. Also, the cleaning team are lovely people, taking care of details to make you feel comfortable and welcome.

Do not stay here. The staff was very inattentive to any of our needs. The resort itself is overrated and overpriced. It is far away from the central area. Arriving there we expected to be attended to, but ended up having to do things our selves such as fetching pool towels. The staff weren’t very friendly nor welcoming. The room itself is in dire need of renovation. The closet doors and cabinets were falling apart. The beach itself was disappointing. There was coral everywhere and the only reason the resort is popular is due to the beach swings which are open to the public. Overall, please save your money and stay at another resort.

Beautiful hotel but be mindful of coral
The hotel has an amazing pool and the views are breathtaking, we got a very spacious private bungalow which was very comfy but had an outdoor toilet and shower which was cool during the day but a little scary at night! The beach is stunning but it all coral so be careful with your feet and you can’t swim in it. Quieter side of the island so nice and romantic

Did not realize this hotel was waaaayyyy on the other side of the island from where your boat launches. It’s a quiet side and nice sunsets but pretty far from the main drag and activities and difficult to get a horse ride past 9pm. Definitely too dark to walk or ride a bike. Nice pool and staff are VERY friendly and accommodating. Had a two room villa and the rooms were clean but personal pool was very dirty and had to ask to have it cleaned which did not occur until the second of our three day trip. A lot of construction going on, walls are VERY thin and while the room were clean they are poorly constructed, sink and toilet not glued down, poor water pressure, AC was not very functional but worked better after we closed off one room. I would def go back to the Gil Islands but think I can get more for the $$ i spent elsewhere

Grymt lyxigt rum med egen pool/terrass. Mkt vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Smidigt med cykel att ta sig runt på ön, det gick att hyra på hotellet. Det hade varit bra med information om att renovering pågick vid och intill hotellet. Det började ca 08:30 - 16:00 på em. Pga oväsen var det bäst att hålla sig borta fr hotellet. Annars var det mkt tyst och lugnt på kvällarna. Åker gärna tillbaka, dock inte om renovering pågår .

Low season, renovations, but a Nice stay
We were there in February 2019. The hotel was undergoing renovations following an earthquake in 2018, so we got upgraded to a villa. It was well kept and clean, so we were very happy. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. February is mosquito-season, which really isnt the hotels fault, but they could have provided mosquito-nets or mosquito-spray on the rooms. The hotel is on the other side of the island, away from all the partying on the island. They do provide bicycles for rent, so getting around is very easy.
