Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo
Ideale per soste brevi, appena sopra la stazione di charing cross e a due passi dal centro. hotel molto funzionale, ottima colazione.

L'albergo è un edificio con oltre 1000 stanze di una nota catena.Si trova attaccato alla stazione di Charing Cross.Le stanze sono di tipo prefabbricato e seriale con bagno senza finestra come tipico nel Regno Unito.Alla reception sono molto gentili e carini.Lo veo un hotel senza charme che va bene per una notte sola e per un budget limitato(io ho pagato la stanza 58 euro a notte,senza colazione).Però consiglio di soggiornare nel suo gemello vicino alla Cental station,molto più comodo ai negozi,divertimenti e collegamenti con aeroporto e altre aree cittadine.

Hotel Premier Inn Glasgow Charing Cross
Situato sopra una fermata della linea ferroviaria che attraversa la città, il cui centro si può raggiungere anche con una piacevole passeggiata di 10 minuti, l'hotel è pulito, silenzioso e le stanze sono dotate di tutte le cose essenziali. Non è l'ideale per un soggiorno romantico, ma se siete in città per lavoro o divertimento è la scelta ideale, vista anche l'abbondanza di pub e locali nelle vicinanze. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo

This hotel is very well located. It is within walking distance of many of Glasgow's best landmarks and it right next door to Charing Cross train station and a multi-storey carpark. When this hotel was a Premier Inn, I stayed in it several times. It was in need of refurbishment then, but it was always clean and comfortable. However, since Britannia took the hotel over things have gone downhill. It is still in need of refurbishment, but it is no longer clean and comfortable. The room I had for this stay was not clean. It was dusty, there were haris on the wall on the bathroom, and there was a red stain (possibly blood) on one of the walls on the bedroom. It was also uncomfortable. The AC unit in the room was not working and neither my partner or I could figure out how to turn off the radiator (although that is probably our fault). Fortunately, the windows open wide enough to let in a good supply of fresh air. They only supplied one pillow each and they were very thin and not very comfortable. My partner did not get a good sleep. The staff are friendly. Check in/out was very easy, although check in doesn't open until 4pm and one has to check out by 10am.

Couldnt sleep properly with the noise of wind and breezy windows not very soundproofed and the constant fan in the bathroom overall if i was to stay again it wouldnt be a room at he front, worse sleep ive had in a hotel in a long time.

Stayed here for 2 nights and did not enjoy it one bit. First off it was by the road so very noisy,especially at night! The bathroom fan was also extremely noisy and continued throughout our whole stay. The room was very hot and the windows did not open. We were not informed about the wifi situation at all and then found out we would be charged an extra £7 a day for wifi, in which the staff did not inform us. The staff customer service was mediocre at best. Wallpaper coming off the wall. Cleaner came in without any warning could have been doing anything, there was no do not disturb things to be able to stop this and we were asleep as he came in. The lift was absolutely disgusting, filthy floors, dirty mirrors, empty bottles i could go on and on. They did not seem to care for their job or show much hospitality for guests. Although the hotel was cheap it was not worth the money spent. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Stayed for 3 nights,i had been visiting for a few days as a quiet break. With the exception of a very small and poor heater which took ages to heat up and still kept the room cold - no radiators in the room,what was strange was there was a little thing at the door what looked like you would use to turn the heating up or down but yet searched the room for a radiator but nothing. The room wasnt layed out very well,the 2 hangers were to the side of the table that i had to search for. Had to squueze past the corner of the bed and the tv to be able to get into open and close the curtians. Again there for 3 days and not once did i get a visit from hoisekeeping regarding towels or anything i needed. Only thing decent about the room was the bed was comfy,it was higher than usual hotel beds,this was ok for me but if this was an eldery person not ideal. Website advertises a restaurant & bar,both of which were closed. Restaurant open for breakfast only,however i went down at 9.15 on my last morning,waited almost 10 mins at the hot buffet station and no one appeared so i gave up and left and went into town for breakfast. Told restaurant was closed due to it being January,fair enough but guests shoid be told this when booking. Advertised a vending machine,what kind of vending machine has coke,diet coke and water in it,no other drinks and certainly no food,no crisps or sandwiches. All in all a pretty poor experience.

Disappointing stay.
There were issues with WiFi My heater only worked when put on by someone at reception. It then kept going off. There are issues with hot water.

Put up 7 of my colleagues and every one of the was complaining about the place to me. Rooms next to railway line basically felt like you standing in the station such was the noise. Most rooms had drafty windows meaning the rooms were freezing and picked up all the noise from the street. Only heating available were plug in heaters. One colleague left his room at 4am to go to his car to get warmed up. Breakfast awful too. Would strongly advise to avoid this hotel.

Overnight stay for daughter's birthday weekend.
Great hotel convenient for city centre, but quiet. Staff welcoming, friendly and very efficient. Sightseeing bus stop a five minute walk away. Fantastic restaurant on the doorstep. The Baby Grand. Highly recommended.

We had issues with accessing our room which took the hotel a significant amount of time to respond to. We were then allocated another room which was unclean. There was a large stain and hairs all over the bed and the bathroom was smelly.

Amazing stay
First of all there's the location. Right at the charingcross train station it is perfect for access to the city centre and all it has to offer. Then there is the amenities, food options within a couple of minutes walk are phenomenal. You have every option whether its street for like kebabs, pizza, burgers there's every option to lots off different restaurants all within a mile radius. The staff have been excellent and went out of there way to make me feel welcome i can't compliment them enough. They are a credit to the hotel. I have been staying here for a week and would come back and stay every time im in Glasgow

On arrival Hotel said i had not paid for breakfast and had no record of me paying in advance. Had to produce reciept. Then when it was breakfast time there was no breakfast buffet which i oaid for but a plate of a fry up. To top it off the cook did not know how to cook an omelets

Room comfortable , bathroom adequate. Heating system difficult to understand settings. Needs settings guide.. Portable electric heater works but not adequate. No power points near bed. Wi-Fi advertised as free but cost £7 per 24 hrs for each device. Breakfast expensive for what is actually provided - not value for money. 10am checkout with £15 charge for 12 noon is not reasonable.
