I didn’t stay here , we arrived for concert at Hampden park , only to find out hotel was closed to public , on a government contract . Had to return home on train with suitcase and missed concert and mini break in Glasgow .

Our apologies for the inconvenience and disappointment caused but unfortunately this is out of the hotels hands and unavoidable as we are closed due to unforeseen circumstances until further notice.

Hotel cancelled the day before travel received to comflicting stories one said was being renovated. Another said shut because of not safe to the pubic. Just felt rather disappointed with the very short notice. Especially after it had been booked for 8 months.

Overall happy. Room a bit tired. Wardrobe door hanging off, only 1 chair and no glasses. Not clear £12 per night parking charge. Despite these couple of things, I’d stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay here, bedroom huge, bathroom very nice, spa facilities excellent - lounge areas, wifi, bar, breakfast etc, all great. 10 min walk to central station, and staff were happy to hold my luggage prior to check in and check out too. I would stay again due to the pool and facilities. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location
Amazing stay from start to finish. Jess (think her name was) on reception was so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Even received an upgrade. Room was very clean and huge. Well worth the money and will make that out base when visiting Glasgow from now on.

Chilled out Birthday Weekend for two in Glasgow
Booked a loft suite for partners birthdays so he could relax. We weren’t disappointed, very large living area, with dining area too. Bathroom large & bonus being a 4 piece as only advertised with a bath. The mezzanine area upstairs also generous in size with a large comfy bed & second tv. The pool l more than adequate for what we wanted with a jacuzzi, steam room & sauna. Plenty of choice for breakfast & again plenty of choice on the menu for lunch which was lovely. The hotel is in a quieter part of the town, which suited us, as we wanted to be away from all of the noise the evening brings, but still close enough to be in the thick of it should you want to be. Few negatives - Room not cleaned fully, shower a bit grimy & the floor not brushed properly as could feel the dirt on my feet. There was also a pasta pot in the cupboard, that should’ve been removed. The sofa & chairs although modern looking was not the most comfy, I kept slipping off & could not support my back due to style. No spare blanket either, which is normal in rooms. Carpet in hallway was really untidy looking & didn’t look as if it had been hoovered in days. 4pm check in is pretty late, but not a deal breaker. Parking across from hotel which is great, however the hotel says you can’t book prior to arrival & the charge is £12 per night, yet I booked through an app days before arriving& paid £7 a night with a £0.99 booking fee. All in the hotel was very good & would most definitely return.

Generally clean and friendly atmosphere. Very quiet and good temperature in room. However, stains on bedsheets and missing buttons on room phone. Felt like more detail could be on the guest directory page. Enjoyed our stay.

We had a nice stay. Very easy walking distance to the Hydro which we wanted. Straight forward parking at a decent cost. Room and hotel was clean and welcoming. It was exactly what we wanted and a good price. Comfortable bed and the room we had was nice and big with a table and chair, 'living room' area which was a nice bonus.

Not like : Decent room - but was a Disabled Room ( Pull Cords / Bathroom etc) which I didn’t ask for and don’t particularly like ?? Hot water for the stay was almost entirely non existent Like : Bed was comfy Breakfast was good Had a Pool ( which we didn’t use ! )

This hotel in my new fave in Glasgow. Absolutely gorgeous. Room was huge & bed was amazingly comfortable. Pool was utterly lush. Food was absolutely yummy. Staff were exceptional especially Natalie & Paulina. 😁

Excellent Stay!!!
I was working in Glasgow over the weekend before Christmas and stayed at the BW Glasgow Argyle. It was an excellent stay. My room was very spacious and made my stay feel very relaxing after work. The staff where all brilliant and nothing was too much. Special mentions for Issy in the restaurant and Jess at reception who went above and beyond. Excellent customer service. Thankyou, Alan
