“This is a little gem and excellent value for money. I arrived very late, asked for a couple of bags of crisps to keep the hunger at bay, and was made a beautiful ham sandwich (with crisps!) well after the kitchen had shut for the night. I stayed in room 2 (single room). It was massive for a single, lovely view, complimentary water, great tea tray and clean and comfortable. As a single woman, I felt very safe here (did not worry about the car either) and the staff couldn’t have been nicer....

“The Priory was a delightful find situated in the Herefordshire countryside about 4 miles from Hereford. We stayed in one of the self-contained apartments which was both comfortable and well-equipped. The owners were very helpful and responded very quickly to questions we had pre-arrival including a recommendation for an evening meal at the Bell Inn in Tillington. ”

“The host did not respond to door bell, phone calls and voice mails from me and customer service agent. I was left stranded in the cold for about 2 hours and had to book another accommodation because my phone battery was already low and power bank was already used up. It was at the point Uber almost arrived to transport me to the newly booked hotel that the host then spoke to me through the door bell claiming to have sent me log in details when I used the chat box on Expedia which she didn’t. I...

“Location was different to what's on the map (it's right next door to the New County Hotel). The apartment was lovely though, looks like it's been recently refurbished and was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. £250 damage deposit seemed quite excessive. Not sure if they get a lot of trouble as housekeeping also came in during stay but didn't do any cleaning, make beds, or fold towels etc (I only knew they'd been because they folded...
