The best things about this place are that it is cheap and close to the beach and resturants. Other than that it isnt great. The room is tiny and doesn't look very clean. I had to squash a cockaroach on our first night there. The walls are thin so you can hear the people in rooms next door to you very easily. They only give a small amount of free wifi. The pool is kept quite clean and is nice though. There is pretty much no free parking around and they do not provide you with a parking space.

Great location, close to beach, shopping, casino and exhibition centre. Although it is a dated building, room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this place for a short stay on the Gold Coast. Would have been happier with my stay if there were lifts to access my room.

The location is perfect - close to eating establishments, supermarket & public transport. Unfortunately I didn't know there was no lift. I have a disability that sometimes makes walking difficult. I didn't realise there's *3 Aruba hotels* so walked several blocks until I reached the right one. I was hobbling in pain by the time I arrived and was mortified there was no lift. I assume people with disabilities aren't welcome at Aruba hotels(!). I was in so much pain I comitted

Disappointed with the after-hours service. They said they were contactable when they were not, then made up some rubbish about why they couldn't answer the phone.

The apartment was very dirt, you only needed to use the bath mat and it spoke for itself. Blankets were disgusting and trying to ask for a clean blanket from manager Serena was impossible. She was awful and very argumentative. My husband purchased laundry liquid to clean a blanket. We had an unpleasant stay and would not recommend this place to anyone. Trying to retrieve our refund was and is still an ongoing saga. Serena and Wotif have contradicting stories. Nit something you need when you have loved one on the hospital.

Hi Ole,We are very sad to hear that your unhappy experience. We changed four blankets but unfortunately couldn't meet your sanctification. We showed the photo that all the washed blanket folded nicely and stored in the cabinet. And explained that tea bags placed in the cabinet to absorb the moisture. Your husband then made connection the light smell of tea from the blanket. We understand your pressure and upset especially your loved one was suffering hard time in the hospital. Please understand that the smell of laundry liquid didn't last for weeks after wash. The payment was made to Wotif directly, thus the refund need process by Wotif not from our office.regards, Aruba Beach Resort

This is an older, low-rise property with no lift or fancy extras. If you want modern with a view, go somewhere else. This is for you if you want to be close to everything at an affordable price, clean, and with great staff.

The unit was very clean and tidy. Although everything supplied was quite basic, we were very well catered for and had everything we required. Excellent central location to cafes and restaurants!! Quiet at night time. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again.

Clean, but dated property. No lifts so make sure you book ground if you have luggage you have trouble lifting. Water temperature isn’t capped either so hot water is scalding. Be careful with kids.

Great central location, great facilities. The only issues were the lack of lifts, we were on 3rd floor with 3 children, lots of luggi g bags, kids, prams upstairs and the old fashioned use of keys.

We had a one bedroom apartment booked through Expedia. The apartment was clean and roomy for what it was, with all the in-room conveniences you would need ie washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc. Crockery and cutlery clean. Our apartment was at the back, so the balcony looked onto the back brick walls of other apartment blocks, unfortunate, but someone has to have them. Location great for restaurants and supermarket and a block to the beach. Pool and spa lovely.

I have stayed here once before as well and the location is great. The grounds are kept beautiful and I love the spa and pool. The only thing I didnt like was the taps in the bathroom are old and its very hard to regulate the water temp in the shower. The price is very good value, highly recommend.

Nice refreshed apartment recently renovated. Nice area and close to all amenities, bars and restaurants, shopping centres, casino and nightclubs Not far from the beach. Undercover parking. Staff at Reception were helpful and accomodating.

While the location is good, but can be noisy as near restaurants, the condition is OK and room is clean. My main concern was the double charging of room and having to chase them about this. They never called me back . They did email me eventually to confirm a refund will take 1-3 business days but now it has been over 3 days and i still do not have my refund. This is very annoying and should not happen and response is poor. If not resolved i will get my credit card provider to dispute.
