Abbiamo amato soggiornare presso questa struttura, ogni singolo dettaglio. Nonostante avessimo scelto solo la colazione come servizio ci siamo fermati più volte per cenare presso entrambi i ristoranti e siamo rimasti sbalorditi, tutto buonissimo e ampia scelta gastronomica (eravamo già rimasti sbalorditi dalla colazione per cui è stato davvero piacevole poter apprezzare allo stesso modo anche la cena). Un grazie speciale ad uno degli chef della colazione che puntualmente mi preparava la mia omelette speciale (le migliori mai mangiate in vita mia), a chi si è preso cura di noi al nostro arrivo e facendomi trovare una sorpresa a cena il giorno dopo del mio compleanno (poiché il giorno stesso eravamo fuori) e al nostro caro amico del bar che ogni sera ci preparava i nostri old fashioned e baileys senza ghiaccio tra risate e racconti reciproci, hai reso indimenticabile la nostra vacanza! Spero te lo riferiscano anche dopo aver letto questa recensione! Abbiamo usufruito anche dei servizi snorkeling e pedal boat, gentilmente seguiti e supportati dai ragazzi della spiaggia, pronti a fare in modo che l’attività scelta ti rendesse felice. Per 15gg ci siamo sentiti come a casa, perciò grazie di tutto dal cuore. Torneremo, con un membro in più in famiglia. Unica nota “negativa” che ci sentiamo di riferire ma più come un consiglio: al momento del check-out ci siamo sentiti non molto apprezzati da chi era in reception e ci è spiaciuto andare via con questa sensazione.

Perfetta location a Gran baie
Camera superiore molto spaziosa pulita vista piscina con bagno grande. Il resort ha due piscine vista mare ombreggiate da palme. Piccola spiaggetta con ombrelloni e lettini e accesso al mare. A due minuti a piedi la spiaggia della couvette dove si può fare un pochino di snorkelling. Sulla spiaggia si affacciano dei barettini. Consiglio Camilla snack perché gestito da un italiano ma soprattutto più pulito degli altri che lasciano un Po a desiderare. L.hotel organizza un oretta di giro in barca con fondo di vetro e possibilita di snorkeling vicino alla barriera. Disponibili anche pedalò e kajak inclusi nel prezzo. A sette otto minuti a piedi si raggiunge via sentiero lungospiaggia il centro di gran baie con bar e ristoranti. Io ho prenotato solo pernottamento e colazione. Quest' ultima un po ripetitiva e più basata sul salato. Animazione serale soft. C è musica tutte le sere con qualche spettacolo di danza locale. Il giudizio complessivo è molto buono. Pienamente soddisfatta.

Very good position near Grand Baie's best beach (La cuvette) and with direct access to the sea. Lovely pool area. The room was big and comfortable. The restaurant was great (we had breakfast and dinner included). Finally, the staff was absolutely lovely both with us and with our little son. I will definitely come back!

Ottima posizione
L'hotel è piuttosto piccolo ma molto carino, la posizione è una delle migliori, noi abbiamo preso una macchina a noleggio x tre settimane, abbiamo girato tutta l'isola e continuiamo a pensare che nn potevano trovare posizione migliore di questa! La piscina è le camere sono belle e tenute pulite L' unico difetto è sull'organizzazione, nn sono organizzati al bar, al ristorante, alla reception ecc Noi fra l'altro nn volevamo la formula all inclusive xche come ho detto prima avevamo noleggiato la macchina x l'intero periodo e volevamo girare tutta l'isola ma ad esempio avremmo voluto fare la colazione in questa struttura è nn siamo mai riusciti: la colazione saresti obbligato a farla entro alle 10 al buffet ( noi eravamo in 4 e di spendere 80 euro x colazione nn ci andava), se volevi solo un caffè te lo davano ma dopo la chiusura del buffet ( dalle10)...solitamente negli altri hotel/villaggi che siamo stati, se nn volevi fare la colazione a buffet potevi ordinate caffè e brioche a la carte! Consiglierei cmq questo hotel x la posizione e la struttura

più di un tre stelle
La struttura ha superato le mie aspettative considerando le recensioni non sempre entusiasmanti che avevo letto prima della partenza. Le parti comuni e le stanze sono davvero ben curate, come anche il servizio sempre puntuale. Il personale molto cortese e professionale, riusciva sempre ad anticipare le nostre esigenze. Qualche miglioramento si potrebbe apportare alla varietà dei menù offerti e all'organizzazione delle attività di intrattenimento e sportive durante il giorno. La spiaggia a disposizione è effettivamente poco godibile ma la location rimane a mio parere molto favorevole in quanto l'hotel dista due minuti a piedi dalla carinissima spiaggia pubblica della Cuvette e dal centro abitato di Grand Baie, con la possibilità di raggiungere facilmente ristoranti, negozi e locali notturni che fino alle 23 offrono sempre buona musica live. Consiglio anche di noleggiare le biciclette per raggiugere le vicine spiagge del nord (splendida in particolare quella di Pereybere).

The hotel is beautiful and we loved the position. We had a privilege room which was lovely, close to the pool/reception and thankfully meant we weren’t disturbed by the bar/restaurant next door. The staff were in the main really nice and friendly but often quite slow/disorganised. Drink orders sometimes took forever to arrive, something was forgotten at least half the time, the wrong drink delivered etc. Breakfast and dinner are buffet style and I found it quite off putting that the food is uncovered when there are a lot of flies and birds in the restaurant area. A few people we spoke to (us included) had dodgy tummies for a couple of days. Lunch was a la carte and better. The cost of drinks and food for those not on all inclusive is extortionate meaning the hotel bar was pretty dead in the evening. Some of the evening musical entertainment was brilliant (the band of 3 particularly).

Very good. Some small could be improved.
Great location for access by foot to Grand Baie. Just the right amount of sunbeds by the pool and on the private bit of beach. Free waterports - kayaking, paddle board, snorkeling and glass bottomed boat trip. Enjoyed the breakfast, other food was ok. (Recently?) renovated in a beautiful colonial style but there were some small things in our room which could have had more care taken over. Had been cleaned in a hurry for our check-in so a fee things were dusty and there was a wet cleaning cloth left just inside the door. Service was mostly good and all the staff were super friendly but just a touch too slow at times. Gave us a packed breakfast for our early flight but the sandwiches were stale. Overall we loved how relaxing the hotel felt and the style and would return for the right price.

Not a good reason to be honest! And there was lots of ants and spiders inside the rooms and dogs drinking water from the pool in the hotel.

The property had just reopened after renovations. The pool area was very nice and comfortable and warm even on a windy day. The staff went the extra mile and obviously have tremendous pride in their jobs and the property. Two weeks sped by very quickly and we were all very sad to leave. Will definitely be going back.

Beautiful hotel we hope to return to
We arrived 6 days after the hotel had reopened following its refurbishment. It was a shame we weren’t offered early check-in as we arrived at 10am, and although check-in was 2pm, our room was not ready until 5pm as there was a mix up. However, once in our ‘privilege’ room, we were very impressed with how beautiful, modern and spacious it was. It was cleaned to a high standard every morning and we had a turndown service each evening. We loved the different towel art! It was obvious that the hotel was not finished when we arrived, furniture and plants were missing, and minor work was taking place across the duration of our stay. By the end of our stay, the finishing touches were almost complete, and the hotel and its decor throughout looked absolutely stunning. We were also very impressed with how clean the entire hotel was. The infinity pool and private beach were picture perfect. Fresh beach towels were provided each day on the sunbeds. The dining room was spacious and had amazing sea views. We felt very safe in the hotel as it had plenty of security. Being able to go on the glass bottom boat, use the kayaks and use the stand up paddles was amazing - thank you! We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious buffet breakfast which had so many options, as well as the drinks selection, fruit bar and evening entertainment. The hotel had so many staff available at all times and they were very friendly and chatty. We would particularly like to thank Eric, Jensen and Alix for looking after us.

L hôtel est correcte
L hôtel est correcte, grande piscine, par contre petite plage privée mais beaucoup de chiens errants...d ailleurs il déconseillé de passer sur le coté plage la nuit pour y aller en ville ( car trop de chiens errants et risque de morsures ) Du coup prendre le taxi pour ceux qui ne sont pas véhiculé ( coût supplémentaire) Le personnel est souriant, à l l'écoute et se soucis de votre confort.

Nous constatons que vous avez apprécié notre grande piscine et notre personel. Ce que vous n'avez pas apprécié est extérieur à l'hotel (chien errant pour aller en ville) et repose sur un risque. De plus, nous n'avons jamais été informé d'une morsure de chien depuis l'ouverture de l'hotel il y a 37ans. Cordialement,

CONFORTABLE
Malgré le passage de la forte tempête Calvinia de classe 3 qui a généré beaucoup de pluie et de vent, le séjour s'est bien passé. La chambre est confortable, la salle de bain très fonctionnelle mais le choix des chaînes de télévision est restreint. Peut-être que la qualité des repas serait à améliorer.

Accueil gentillesse attention du personnel ;établissement propre jardins bien entretenus ;proximité des commerces et autres par sono bruyante le week-end

Mooi accomodatie, schoon en netjes, zeer vriendelijk personeel en alles goed verzorgd. We hadden half pension, ontbijt was goed, het avondeten meestal ook, genoeg keuze in elk geval. Vooral de curry's smaakten. Een paar avonden waren we minder te spreken over het buffet, maar dan kozen we om het hoofdgerecht a la carte te bestellen. Smaakte erg goed en voor- en nagerecht kon je dan alsnog van het buffet afnemen.

overall the stay was ok, what they can enhance is the room interior and especially the toilette area, it feels old and needs some maintenance. the staff was very helpful

Lille strandområde ved hotellet. 100 meter fra hotellet var der en flot offentlig strand i en lille bugt med læ for vinden. God stor altan ved værelset.
