Bene per i nottamboli
lo staff stato competente, comunicativo e simpatico, la colazione di buona qualità , la posizione centralissima. Ci sono pero dei difetti, la nostra camera si e rivelata rumorosa, situata al primo piano sopra un ristorante, c ' è stato silenzio solo dalle 2 alle 6 di notte. La camera nuova, moderna e ben arredata è pero un po piccola, per esempio non c' è posto dove posare le valigie. Il bagno, forse concepito da un architetto pazzoide , ha una grande finestra che da sulle scale interne, c'è una tendina è vero, ma chiunque salga le scale puo vedere mentre fai il bagno. La tele funziona con difficoltà

Suite A beautifully furnished room with private terrace with sunloungers and shaded sofa, private hammam, and jacuzzi type bath. Lovely management and staff who were very respectful of guests privacy and relaxation. Very clean throughout the hotel. Ideal area to explore the old town with ease. Many good restaraunts and bars close by. A charming little hotel. I loved it.

Great location but...
Great location and a friendly receptionist. Unfortunately, the spa wasn't in operation. Also, our laundry was returned wet and smelling of cigarettes.

Wonderful visit! We got in much later than expected but the hostess stayed up until midnight to greet us and welcome us in. Wonderful location right in the middle of the lively city!

We loved this hotel! Each room seemed to be so unique and the combined modern and old architecture was so beautifully done. The breakfast was delicious and eaten in a pretty outdoor courtyard area. The hotel was well situated in the old town, and a 10 minute walk from the bus station. Best of all was the wonderful staff; Catherine was so helpful and friendly, as was the other staff member we met (whose name I do not know how to spell!). If we were ever in Rethymno again, we will certainly stay here. We highly recommend Bellagio Boutique Hotel!

We understand perfectly your reaction as to not answering your email promptly. The reason why we delayed giving you an answer had to do with the fact that we were trying to find a solution from our end , to your demand. As per your reservation, you had booked with us one night/non refundable price policy. We delayed respondingto you hoping that a request may be booked for the same day and period as your booking and thus not charge you the non refundable amount. Unfortunately, this did not happen. So, according to the standardized cancellation policy followed by all accommodations, the non refundable cancellation amount should had been received on the day of your booking, that is on 11/03/2019 as stated crearly on the reservation / booking details. If you are under the impression that receiving the cancellation amount renders us as unfriendly, it would be our pleasure to host you another day giving us this way the opportunity to make our acquaintance and have a first hand inmpression of your hospitality and friendship hoping that it would positively change your mind on our services. We sincerely hope that the issue that forced you to alter your vacation plans no longer exists and the outcome was a positive one .

It was a nice small hotel in the center of Rethymno. No elevator, but the staff helps you carry your suitcases up the stairs. The staff were really solicitous and seemed really happy to have us as guests and gave us all kinds of advice. The room was very comfortable, except for sheets that are too small for a double bed, and the fact that it advertises a king-sized bed, when it is really a slightly larger than double, not even queen size. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable, a suitcase rack or two would help. The breakfast was very complete and had a large selection.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of old Rethymno
Thank you Cathrine for creating a lovely and relaxing hotel to stay in for our time in Rethymno. The great location of the hotel in the middle of the old town made it easy to explore Rethymno. We loved our beautiful room and my partner delighted in our private steam room. Your advice about Rethymno was so helpful to find nice places to explore and restaurants for dining. We had the Executive Suite and Junior Suite. We would thought the Junior Suite was wonderful, but the Executive Suite is not good for older people (too many stairs, too many floor levels in the room, slippery shower/tub). The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Malgré notre arrivée très tardive l'accueil a été excellent. Bien que très calme, notre chambre donnant sur la rue, quelques bruits de circulation le matin. Préférer donc une chambre donnant sur la cour intérieure. Très bien situé dans la ville.

Beautiful boutique hotel, in city center
Great hotel and the best thing about it is its staff and owner, who went out of their way to ensure I knew the best locations to visit, eat, shop, etc. The city is also beautiful, but I would come back to Rethymno solely to stay at this hotel.

Perfect!
Perfectly located, modern, exceptionally clean small hotel. Amazingly hospitable owner and staff - nothing too much trouble. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Always offered refreshments when relaxing on the terrace in the afternoon, at no extra charge. Supplied with towels for swimming when out on a day trip to Preveli. Cathrine was particularly helpful with restaurant recommendations and booking trips. Would always stay here if we visit again.

Wonderful service!
We loved everything about it. It is located right inside the old city, close enough to the harbor and the heavily trafficked area to be very convenient, but a little bit away from the big crowds on a quiet side street. The rooms were also very tastefully decorated and comfortable, but the biggest asset is the personalized and attentive service. The owner and her manager are there from the time you wake up with a breakfast that the customize just to your own preferences and throughout the day and early evening whenever you'd like a coffee, a beer, some water, or whatever else you wish. If we come back to Rethymno, and we hope we will, we'll certainly stay here again.

Top quality small hotel
We stayed for 3 nights in this excellent small hotel in the heart of Rethymno old town, and were given a very warm welcome despite arriving at 23.00. Breakfast was a delight, with a very wide selection of options all explained by the host Cathrine, who also gave us invaluable information on what to see, where to eat and on the history of the hotel. This level of service is rare these days; we are already planning our next visit and we haven't yet returned to the UK!

This is a gem of a hotel - beautiful building close to center of Old Town on a quiet street, but Katerina and Evgenia made the hotel really special. Thank you for a perfect stay - our 2 nights happily turned into 3.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel
This is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of old town Rethymnon. They went over and above to be helpful prior to arrival about the best way to get there. They greeted us with complimentary beer, watermelon, nuts and pastries which after a 16 hour travel was more than appreciated. Our room was small with no window but quite comfortable and an excellent base to explore the old town. Literally cobble streets are right outside the hotel. The free breakfast has no time constraints and is absolutely amazing. The pastries were among the best we had in Greece plus eggs, toast, yoghurt as well. They went above and beyond to recommend restaurants and seemed genuinely interested in helping us get the best out of Rethymnon. I would highly recommend them. We wished we had stayed more than 1 night!

Fantastic hospitality, great value boutique hotel
We have stayed in very many hotels around the world and we have never come across such a magnificent level of service and hospitality anywhere. Eygenia, the owner, was most ably assisted by her assistant Katerina, who speaks excellent English, and when we arrived they offered us complimentary drinks, a selection of fruit and pastries and this happened EVERY night that we stayed. The breakfasts were excellent with a wide range of items to choose from. After breakfast we were offered as many of the delicious breakfast items to take with us for lunch. This is a small hotel but very smart, spotlessly clean with good Wi-Fi. The hotel is situated in the quaint old town of Rethymno close to all the shops and beautiful harbour area yet very quiet at night. The building, which dates back to Turkish times, has been beautifully renovated by Eygenia and her family and she has maintained much of the character of the building with modern elements beautifully incorporated. Our air-conditioned bedroom faced onto the street and was very tastefully appointed. Katerine was excellent in looking after us, suggesting trips and being able to book excellent tables in great restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was always available to help. This hotel offers excellent value for money and we would detour to stay here again. Eygenia and Katerina made us extremely welcome during our three days stay and this boutique hotel warrants our strongest possible recommendation.

Excellent hotel in the old town
Everything 5 star, all the fixtures, fittings were top quality. Breakfast was excellent and fresh orange juice was a bonus. We were offered coffee and biscuits every day. Catherine was very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations.

Ble på dette hotellet en natt da vi ankom Rethymnon. Både hotelleieren og hennes ansatte var svært imøtekommende, og servicen var upåklagelig. Hotellet er lite, 5 rom, men svært pent og interessant bygget. Vi hadde et fint opphold og ba om å få beholde rommet resten av tiden vår på Kreta, men alt var oppbestilt. Anbefales på det sterkeste.

Great for our Honeymoon!
Stayed here for the first night of our honeymoon. Although the stay was brief, we were thoroughly impressed. The room was clean and beautifully built/decorated, with a view of the minaret right outside our window. Right in the middle of old town. You must walk from the main public parking lot, but this was not a problem because it was only about 2 short blocks away. Breakfast had a huge spread to choose from, and all of it was delicious! Very kind staff, and they gave us water when we arrived to check in, and brought complimentary wine to our room later on. Great start to the honeymoon.

Friendliest staff I've ever encountered!!
Evgeni and Maria made sure we would feel part of their family. Service was excellent as one would expect from a 5 star establishment, however it was the welcoming hoapitality of the owners and staff which have made our stay in Crete much more relaxed.

Petit hotel charmant en plein centre de la vieille ville, à 5 min en taxi de la station de bus, chambre spacieuse bien décorée moderne propre, service personnalisé, petit déjeuner varié et adaptable selon vos envies! Le staff a été tout simplement exceptionnel de part son aide quotidienne, ses conseils, sa gentillesse. L'hotel a rendu notre séjour d'autant plus agréable et nous y retournerons les yeux fermés!
