Nice location
I booked the Hotel for my week holiday, location is nice and well mainteined. The hotel is far away from the beach and swiming pool could be the right solution for relaxing. Breakfast enought good I expected more various and with wide choice of fruit.

Posizione speciale, familiarità e gentilezza
Questo hotel a conduzione familiare si trova sul versante di una collina, in una posizione speciale per il panorama che offre. Il personale è grazioso, avvolgente, ti rende parte della famiglia. Cibo servito ottimo, ogni giorno viene proposto un piatto tipico preparato dai proprietari. Bella piscina! Consigliato sia a coppie che a nuclei con bambini. Un consiglio: necessaria auto per qualsiasi spostamento.

Creta Blue Suites - hotel molto tranquillo a gestione familiare
Ci siamo trovati molto bene al Creta Blue, la famiglia che lo gestisce è molto cordiale ed è sempre stata a nostra disposizione, ad esempio per organizzare il trasferimento in aeroporto, per affittare l'auto o anche solo per sapere quali sono le spiagge e i siti da visitare. Le camere sono molto spaziose e luminose, dotate di frigo, angolo cottura, e tutte con balconcino o terrazza, con una splendida vista ovunque. La struttura si trova in posizione molto tranquilla, alle spalle del più turistico e movimentato centro di Hersonissos. Le spiagge sono raggiungibili anche a piedi, ma si consiglia di affittare l'auto perchè l'hotel si trova in cima ad una ripida salita di circa 1 km, in una posizione un po' isolata, e comunque vale la pena spostarsi e visitare l'isola. Per cenare si può rimanere in hotel oppure scegliere uno dei numerosi ristoranti tipici del paese, che sono un po' più economici, ma tutti ugulamente buoni. Le uniche note negative sono state la colazione, un po' scarsa e poco varia; inoltre veniva servita solo a partire dalle 9, e ciò costringe a iniziare un po' tardi la giornata se si ha in programma di muoversi per l'isola. Altra pecca il cambio degli asciugamani: sul sito c'era scritto che li cambiano ogni due giorni, ma a volte li cambiavano ogni 3 giorni, e anche il letto non sempre veniva rifatto. Nel complesso consiglierei questa struttura a chi cerca un luogo tranquillo e riposante, da usare come base per gli spostamenti.

hotel dalla posizione incantevole e appena si arriva nella struttura situata su un piccolo colle circondato dalle montagne rigogliose sembra subito di essere coccolati dalla quiete e dalla serenita'.Accoglienza cordiale e disponibilita immediata da parte del personale. per una vacanza rilassante e romantica!Consigliato!

Such care was taken in the presentation and upkeep of the hotel, it really is beautiful. The setting is so peaceful and really is perfect for a relaxation holiday. The staff could not be friendlier or more lovely and the food and drink is of a high quality.

Wir haben hier eine wirklich großartige Zeit verbringen dürfen. Das Serviceteam ist sehr herzlich, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser Zimmer war schön eingerichtet, sauber und komfortabel. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Abends konnte zwischen dem Menü und einem täglich wechselnden Special ausgewählt werden. Die Qualität des Essens war überragend. I absolutely loved my stay at Creta Blue. I stayed in one of the adult only rooms that had a hot tub on the terrace, overlooking the sea and it was simply magical. The communication and service with hotel staff was easy as can be and everyone was very helpful. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

Quiet and relaxing property up on the cliffs about 25 minutes outside of Heraklion. Great place to get away from the noise and traffic of the city. The rooms are some of the most spacious you will find in the area for the price they offer, although not as modern as the pictures show and a few of the sea view balcony rooms may have their view blocked by the building. There is also not a lot of parking, and you will have to walk up the hill to the rooms, so it's not ideal for anyone out of shape or disabled. I would say for the price, it's an excellent choice for anyone looking for a quiet stay, and there are actually multiple amazing restaurants within walking distance in the quaint and beautiful town of Hersonissos. The pool is also well kept and clean, and the staff is highly accommodating.

We stayed here with our 18month old and they made us feel like family. Nothing was to much trouble. The village was a 5minute walk away with wonderful restaurants and cute shops. We stayed here and on the beach, for an authentic stay in Crete, little could beat this.

Creta Blue is absolutely STUNNING! We were greeted by George the owner of the hotel who is incredibly kind and gracious. You can tell that this hotel is more than a family business, it is a passion project with no details spared. The staff here is wonderful and they really make you feel so comfortable. The rooms are beautiful and it is clear they put a lot of effort into the decor. It feels like a slice of heaven. The views of the ocean are 180 degrees. We had dinner at the restaurant which was fantastic. I highly recommend the shrimp Sagnaki! I would have no hesitation booking this place. It was the nicest accommodation we had in our 2 weeks in Greece!

Die Unterkunft ist schlicht toll gelegen. Die Junior Suite 209 hat einen tollen Ausblick. Das Personal ist unbeschreiblich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wenn man die Chance hat malzufällig das sonst Unbemerkte zu beobachten, dann stellt man fest welche kleinen Details (z.B. durch den super freundlichen Pool-Reiniger=Anlagen Instandhalter) korrigiert werden, dann weiß man, warumdieAnlagein solch tollem Zustand ist. Das kleine angrenzende alte Dorf bietet unzählige wunderschöne Restaurants und es ist durchaus belebt abends. Toll.

Creta Blue was a fabulous property run by George and Helen. The view was breathtaking and the rooms were clean and all had balconies and terraces to enjoy the soft music, the pool and watch everyone relaxing with friends. The restaurant ( Blue Moon ) was right there to enjoy the cuisine. They had specialty nights with BBQ and incredible Greek cuisine. We felt safe and appreciated. George was especially knowledgeable and professional. The cleaning staff was efficient and friendly. You can tell they are well taken care of by the management. It was a romantic getaway at a very good price point. Thankyou to everyone who made our trip a fond memory. We flew 10 hours for this experience and is highly recommended. The service given was fleeting but the memories last forever.

Creta Blue Boutique Hotel
Absolutely fabulous place to stay. We had a lovely suite tucked around the back, so was very tranquil. Stunning infinity pool. The hotel is up a steep hill but this means the view is fabulous. The traditional village of Koutoulafari is only 5 or so minutes walk down the hill- laden with traditional tavernas, souvenir shops, a mini golf, car hire places as well as cocktail bars etc. We chose half board which was served at The Blue Moon Restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was amazing.. fresh produce, local meats etc. The waitress Lavinia is the star of the restaurant.

The best place to stay in that area of Crete.
Excellent hotel. Everything was amazing. Good service and food. The view is extraordinary! We want to go back again! Highly recommended to have a car to stay in this hotel. Hotel excelente. An absolutely beautiful property, our room was perfect, so reasonably priced, the food was divine, they even went above and beyond making me special vegetarian dishes to make sure I had more choice than originally on the menu but what really made this property so lovely for us was the unbelievably kind hearted and special staff. All so lovely, and warm and made us feel so at home from day one. We will be back ASAP!! Jess and Alex xx

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable week staying at Creta Blue Boutique Hotel. Giorgio”s family and staff could not have made us feel more welcome or valued as customers. The Hotels”s “Blue Moon” restaurant and wine bar was a real surprise as we had not expected such superb food and changed our plans to dine there far more often than we had expected as it afforded great views, atmosphere as well as delicious local food and wine.

Nos fue muy complicado encontrar su ubicación, el camino de acceso es muy incomodo e inseguro y no esta iluminado en la noche. Las escaleras de acceso a la habitación muy incomodas y poco seguras, la pareja de amigos que nos acompañaba en otra habitación se resbalaron al bajar en la mañana y tuvieron sendas caídas de las que resultaron bastante dañados. No lo recomendamos. Nefasta relación precio - calidad.

Estimados invitados valiosos, En primer lugar, permítame darle las gracias por elegir nuestro pequeño hotel boutique este mes de marzo. Personalmente, mi personal y yo nos sentimos terribles con el pequeño accidente que tuvo durante el peor día del año con respecto al clima. Permítame recordarle que el día que se resbaló en las escaleras fue durante una tormenta con neblina y el suelo estaba extremadamente resbaladizo. En cuanto a la ubicación del hotel, traté de explicarles que es imposible para nosotros poner señales en todo el pueblo simplemente porque si cada hotel tuviera una señal, las carreteras estarían llenas de señales y nada más. Estoy seguro de que incluso en España los hoteles no tienen carteles en todas las calles. Más allá de eso, el camino en el que estamos es 100% seguro y no hay nada que temer. Nuestro hotel existe desde hace 19 años y aunque el acceso es bastante estrecho esta es una de nuestras ventajas ya que disfrutamos de tranquilidad incluso en los períodos más concurridos del verano. Probablemente el clima no ayudó durante su estadía ya que tuvimos dos de los días más fríos del año con temperaturas por debajo de los 7 grados (1ra vez en los últimos 50 años) y todo fue más difícil. This hotel is just perfect ! The owner is really kind and welcoming. He shared with us nice restaurant and nice area to visit. The room was perfect, clean and nice, the view was amazing. I recommend to take the room with jaccuzzi. We felt like we are in dream. The breakfast was also amazing, I recommend it too ! All the staffs are really nice and kind. If you want to trip in Crete and have a really nice place to stay, I recommend for sure this hotel ! This hotel was one of the best that I experimented in my life.

Such a hidden gem. This hotel is beautiful, the rooms are modern and gorgeous, the staff is really friendly and helpful, and THE FOOD - oh my gosh, the food. The food at the restaurant was incredible - definitely don't make dinner plans anywhere else while staying here!

I’ve found “My Perfect Place”
The Hotel was nothing short of “OUTSTANDING” and I’m certainly not the easiest person to please… From the actual moment of arrival until the moment we sadly had to leave… I would describe it as “Perfect”… There are good reasons why this hotel is rated as highly as it is & why most of the other guests had been “Returners” - returning year after year… George & his whole TEAM, and in particular in our case the front of house staff: Kostas, Lavinia & Erina were the perfect hosts. Working tirelessly to ensure you as the customer enjoyed an extremely relaxing and enjoyable holiday, while remaining polite, courteous, highly efficient at what they do. The genuine warmth & friendliness of the Greek people is felt as I said almost immediately. In summary I couldn’t recommend a better place to relax, unwind and let the genuine hospitality simply blow you away…

Amazing short break in a beautiful area with some nice restaurants. The staff were great and couldn’t do enough to help make the stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend.
