Fantastico
Un posto meraviglioso, con personale professionale e sempre cordiale e disponibile.Il buffet abbondante e cibo delizioso.Unica peca era che l'acqua della doccia dopo 2 persone che si lavano diventava fredda,bisognava aspettare affinche diventasse calda di nuovo.Cmq era un dettaglio rispetto a tutto il resto che era strepitoso.Bravi!!!

Struttura simile ad un piccolo villaggio più che ad un albergo. Camere molto confortevoli. Mare splendido anche se spiaggia un po' piccola per le dimensioni dell'albergo. Cucina buona. Piscine favolose. Clientela internazionale( praticamente tedeschi e russi; pochissimi gli italiani e questo è un bene). Ambiente molto rilassante. Praticamente vacanza all'insegna del relax e del silenzio almeno nel periodo da noi frequentato. Villaggio decentrato. Indispensabile il noleggio di auto se si vuol visitare l'isola ( molto grande e con strade poco confortevoli): meglio rivolgersi per il noleggio al vicino paese di Sissi dove ci sono molti autonoleggi ( quello in albergo mi sembra molto caro perché molto comodo). In sostanza ritornerei in questa struttura e la consiglierei vivamente

Nice resort, large and well maintained. Rooms are OK. As an all inclusive, the food is just OK. There is some variety but the quality and the taste are so-so.

We were pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel is. The grounds are huge and complex feel like little village. We had an issue the first night with not getting the room with sea view which we paid for, but the staff went out of their way to get that corrected and we were placed in a room with the sea view the next night. We were also given a voucher for lunch for 2 in French restaurant as for the inconvenience. Beach area is beautiful, water is crystal clear and warm. There are several pools around. Nature is beautiful. Buffet offers variety of option for everyone. Super convenient location, very close to village Sisi that has tons of restaurants, gift shops and activities. About 40 min away from Heraklion and Agias Nikolaos.

Très vielles chambres et déco- de qualité 3 étoiles. Un seul resto buffet - aucun resto à la carte le soir pour varier. Aucune activité aquatique à la plage. Aucune navette vers les villes plus proche (l’hôtel est très isolé -accès difficile sans taxi ou voiture). L’avantage: grand resort avec 2 grandes piscines et vue sur les montagnes et la mer.

The renovated room is lovely. The resort is not. I have never stayed in such an unwelcoming resort. There are many people staying here - it’s enormous & there are just not enough staff. They are harassed & rude. They all defend the huge number of ‘rules’ that exist & have no interest in actually serving their guests. The customer is never right. It doesn’t feel like a relaxing vacation, it feels like school. Where to begin? The drinking water in the cafeteria is turned off after breakfast. I don’t expect alcohol or even juices to be included in the meal plan - but turning OFF the water? They don’t leave bottles of water in the rooms either, but the cold water might go off in the evening. (Nothing is ever their fault. They never offer a solution - “it’s the village that turns it off you see”). If you get to the buffet an hour before closing there isn’t much left to eat & it certainly isn’t inviting. (“It’s the fault of the children you see, they take too much & don’t even eat it”). The gym doesn’t open until 10am (“it’s because it’s in the spa you see”). The beach towels are in the spa so you can’t get towels until 10am. You can only have 1 umbrella for 2 sun beds. The gestapo on the beach run a tight operation. (“You think I don’t know what goes on on this beach? I see you trying to get another umbrella”). You can only sit in designated areas for lunch, even if all the tables are in the sun and there are empty tables in the shade. Unhappy people everywhere.DO NOT STAY HERE!

Určitě si zde člověk odpočine a to je cíl letní rodinné dovolené. Hotelový resort je tichý, je velmi dobře umístěný u pobřeží, vane přes něj osvěžující vzduch z moře. Doporučil bych hotelovému personálu být všímavý k drobné provozní údržbě v celém areálu, v zázemí a na pokojích.

I stayed at this property for a week. Here are my impressions in brief: CONS: - No room service. In practice this means that you have to track in the summer heat 10 minutes to the breakfast place and then back. - The lunch place (by the pools) - be prepared for sloppy and slow service and food of a very poor quality. - Breakfasts and dinners are buffet-style and the food is nice but the canteen is very understaffed. Be prepared for very long wait times to get a clean and served table and to have your drinks brought to you. - The so-called "Suite room" is not a suite but just two adjacent rooms with very simple decor. - The Internet is very spotty, super slow in the evening and was out for an entire day on one occasion. - There are two beaches - one is an artificial bay with plastic, used masks, paper, leaves and all sorts of trash floating in the water. The other one is clean but has huge rocks in the water which make swimming rather difficult. - My door lock was broken and got fixed only on the 3rd day of my stay after a second reminder from me. - The phone in the room was also broken and had to be replaced. PROS: - very nice huge swimming pools; - it is not too difficult to find sun-beds.

Great Hotel with Fabulous Buffet & Beach!
The resort is quite large with lots of spaces for different uses. Amazing beach which I will always remember. Buffet had a great food and lots of choices. Balcony room was spacious but was very "beige", nice to add mediterranean colours to give a more luxury/wow feel. Would definitely return.

Hôtel idéal pour les familles. Les nombreuses (et grandes) piscines permettent de répondre à toutes les exigences. La plage est à 50 mètres. Eau limpide comme souvent en Crête. Pole restauration varié et qualitatif. Animateurs dynamiques. Personnel agréable

My wife and I loved everything about the hotel. If there was one suggestion I would make that would be an adults only part of the eating areas. Sometimes when having a romantic meal with your significant other it's nice not to hear babies crying. Just a thought. Overall we absolutely loved our vacation time at the Kalimera Kriti. 10/10

During the off season it's a good infrastructure eith a lot of space and shaddow. During high season I would avoid to stay there.

Highly recommendable.
This was a very good experience to us from A to Z. We travelled with and without Kids hundreds of Hotels over the world, and this makes it certainly on the top ranks. Attention to detail, overall setup, food, speed of service... name it. All exceptional well. Bathroom was a litlle worn out for a 5 star but nothing to be concerned and definitly clean. hotel proche de la plage mais...
hotel tres bien situé et tres agreable dans sa conception mais il semble manquer d'entretien (parasols rouillés qui ne s'ouvrent plus, tir à l'arc fermé car pas d'animateur en pleine periode de congés, sauna en panne certainement depuis très longtemps...) le repas est inégal en qualité et meriterait mieux au vu de la categorie de l'hotel

The resort is quite nice, it's built like a greek village. Food is spectacular (we took the half board basis and were very happy with it). On the down side our room was quite remote from the beach and the hotel facilities (7 min walk in the sun with 2 small kids) and the room standard was, in my POV a good 4* rating, rather than 5*. Wi-Fi cover in the rooms and around the resort is quite fickle and calls for improvements.

We were on our honeymoon there and were very pleased with the resort at first. When we arrived to the hotel we have learned that a bungalow means something else in Crete. We liked the village style set up, but we have expected rather bigger room and sea front. Pictures on the hotel websites are misleading.

mooie resort met prive strand.
Mooie grote hotel met goede zwembaden en privé strand en veel sport gelegenheden en Spa. Behulpzaam en aardige personeel. Voor iedereen wat te doen. Goed eten alleen gerechten aan de zoute kant. WiFi was niet altijd even goed kan beter. Was afgelegen geen goede openbaarvervoer verbindingen en mogelijkheden. Een echte familie hotel. Beter een auto te huren.

This is a very large property, the landscaping could be better. They have buildings that are empty and don't look to serve a purpose. The pool area is a massive lawn area with no trees or shade so every morning people fight for umbrellas. Lawn is not mowed, which is awkward. Our first room was a joke. Some Motel 6 have nicer and cleaner rooms (we had a big ant infestation in our bath room). Not even a coffee machine. After complaining they gave a really nice room however. So not a 5 star resort, but if you have small kids this is a good place.

Super Hotelanlage, netter Service, gutes Essen
Im Mai haben wir (Eltern + zwei Kinder im Alter von 2 und 4) 10 Tage im Kalimera Kriti verbracht. Über das Hotel haben wir im Vorfeld einen Fahrservice gebucht, der uns in ca. 30 minuten vom Flughafen in die Anlage gebracht hat. Unser Zimmer verfügte über eine Klimaanalage und eine schöne Sicht auf das Meer. Da unser Zimmer auf relativ weit oben auf dem Hügel gelegen war, mussten wir für den Weg an den Strand in paar Minuten einplanen. das war nicht weiter dramatisch, hinderte allerdings daran vom Strand mal"kurz" ins Zimmer zu gehen. Die Anlage lässt an nichts missen. Mehrere Pools, Beach Volleyball, Tennis, Tischtennis, Strand, Kinderclub, Kinderpool, Tischtennis, Fitnessstudio, Sauna... hier wird einem nicht langweilig. Das Essen war überdurchschnittlich gut und der Service exzellent. Ich kann dieses Hotel mit guten Gewissen weiterempfehlen!

Séjour de rêve
Séjour de 2 semaines de rêve. Nous avons adoré la gentillesse et l'efficacité du personnel (spécialement Delpina au restaurant et Yiota au beach bar...) ainsi que les plages de sable et les piscines magnifiques. Clients majoritairement allemands. La taille de l'établissement est époustouflante, mais l'architecture est très réussie et on ne sent jamais qu'il y a trop de monde. Nous allons y retourner !

Lovely location in Crete but ......
The location of the hotel is outstanding and the friendly staff work really hard to ensure that your stay is enjoyable; they are fantastic! The pool is huge and you can swim to your heart's content and the sea is so close too. Lots of sun-loungers and umbrellas but the latter need refurbishing. The resort is vast so you need to be prepared to walk. Food, breakfast and dinner, is great but there is a stampede when the doors open at 7pm. Not sure about the orange juice at breakfast but you can have fresh at a price. The smoking policy confused me. At the restaurant there is a designated Adults Area and also a designated Smoking Area, but many adults also smoked and should have been in the appropriate area. Smoking seemed ok for anywhere at the pool or at the beach. The rooms are adequate but for a hotel of this quality you would expect a walk-in shower. Air Con just seemed to move the hot ait around - there was no temperature control, and it was a tad warm at night. I would have loved a tea-making facility in the room. I would recommend but with caveats.

Les + : Personnel accueillant et serviable, plages et piscines magnifiques, beauté du complexe, Buffet varié et pour tous les goûts, chambre spacieuse, confortable et propre, animations quotidiennes mais discrètes, l'offre des cours collectifs/sports, salle de sport. Les - : les pièces communes surclimatisées notamment au spa (inconfortable pour les massages), les guêpes, l'accessibilité en poussette (des escaliers partout et pas d'ascenseur), la chambre un peu dangereuse pour un enfant en bas âge (escaliers entre toutes les pièces), la proximité des chambres (beaucoup de vis à vis), la vue TRES partielle sur la mer, le manque de spécialités grecques au buffet, pas possibilité de late checkout, le complexe est loin de tout (le village de Sissi est à 20mn à pied par une route assez dangereuse surtout la nuit)

Excellent place to relax and enjoy the sea!
We spent 2 weeks in a Family Bungalow with sea view, and fully enjoyed it! Very nice and clean, quiet beach, large pools, no hassle for sunbeds, excellent food, friendly staff... no substantial complaints! Can be fully recommended for a relaxing beach holiday!

Great family holiday
The only issue is that the rooms are fairly basic in construction and noise carries easily. However, the hotel, its facilities, the staff, the beach etc are so great that we spent very little time in the room (which was a sea view as requested). The hotel was full, though there was always room around & in the massive pools and the catering staff handled meal times with ease. The food variety, quality and replenishment speed was great. Ten days there and we did not tire of it. The day tour to Heraklion / Knosis was very interesting and the little village just 10 minutes walk away is really quaint to boot. A tip: Get to the airport early for departure, it is a zoo!

Wonderful family vacation . The resort has everything you need. The area is large enough to eliminate any sense of density. Friendly service and hospitality.
