Bellissimo Hotel
Hotel veramente bello, camere spaziose pulite e dotate di una fantastica doccia. Letto comodo e perfetta climatizzazione. Il personale è gentile e disposto ad aiutarti. L'albergo si affaccia sulla statale che collega aeroporto e città di Reykjavík. Colazione SUPER Estremamente consigliato

Ottima scelta
Sono stato in questo Hotel per una sola notte nel mese di febbraio 2016. La scelta dell'hotel è dettata dal buon costo e buona qualità dell'hotel. E' fuori mano per chi deve muoversi con i mezzi pubblici. Io avevo auto a noleggio. Per cui parcheggio gratuito, buona colazione e in posto tranquillo. Camera grande e anche bagno con doccia grande. Finestre molto grandi permettono di avere una sensazione di spazio ancora maggiore. Pulizia e cortesia molto buona.

Hotel tra Reykjavik e aeroporto di Keflavik.
Camera spaziosa è molto carina. C'è una grande finestra dove con un po' di fortuna si può vedere l'Aurora boreale comodamente dalla camera! Il bagno piacevole con un bel soffione nella doccia. Colazione abbondante per chi gradisce il salato. Solo un dolce a mio parere sgradevole per gli amanti del dolce alla mattina. Il personale alle reception sempre molto cortese, non posso dire lo stesso del personale presente alla colazione. Ho fatto notare che erano 2 giorni che non funzionava la macchina delle bevande, mi hanno risposto in modo molto scortese, quando bastava solo rimboccare la macchina di latte in polvere! Capisco che l'hotel ha per il 90% Turismo Giapponese ma se accetta anche le nostre prenotazioni sarebbe carino che soddisfino anche le nostre esigenze. Vorrei ricordare che ho pagato anch'io! Per il resto consiglio la struttura.

hotel nuovo ,inaugurato a giugno.
hotel confortevole, tenendo conto degli standards islandesi. buona la colazione .è situato in una zona anonima vicino a centri commerciali, ma si raggiunge ,se si è automuniti, facilmente reykjavik.

This property was perfect if you had a rental car with extremely close and good parking. If you want everything within walking distance then this is too far out of the way.

Ikke fornøyd
Veldig dårlig frokost, ingenting smakte godt annet en frukt. Lite utvalg. Eple og appelsin juicen var varm og Veldig utvannet. Kjøpte hamburger i sportsbaren som var rå og ustekt. Senger manglet overmadrass, mye lyd i fjær i Sengen. Mye støy fra hoved vei rett utenfor vinduet. Hotellet ligger ikke sentralt til og det meste er utilgjengelig uten bil. Tv kanalene var uoversiktlig og rotete. Det eneste positive var ved innsjekk, da ble vi tatt i mot av en blid, hyggelig og service innstilt dame.

On a tight budget with a 1 night layover in Iceland, we needed a clean, safe guest room and got that plus a wonderful staff. BUT, isolated in a mostly industrial area with a 1.4 mile hike to the nearest Flybus stop for airport transfers, because of the icy winter conditions, we opted for a taxi with a costly cab fare. I would think if we had more time to explore and a rental car 9which we cancelled given concerns over the recent seizmic and volcanic activity, and unfamiliar roads) I'm sure we would have been fine. We did get to use to Reebok facility next door for free and it was wonderful, uncrowded and great for the fitness minded.

Wife and I were staying in room 429. We had the most painful toilet seat we have ever experienced. It left marks on our thighs and butts in just a few minutes and it painfully stayed for a long time after. I’m not sure if all the rooms have the same type of toilet seat, but ours was very sharp edged. We also attempted to use the kettle that was in the room. We checked it and put water in it, to clean out the kettle before use. We were so lucky we did that because this insect came out with it, into the sink. I’m not familiar with the insects here but it looked like a bed bug the size of a US dime. Needless to say, we did not use that kettle again.

Great stay! Saw the northern lights
Great hotel! We enjoyed our stay here while visiting Iceland. Breakfast was very convenient and nice to get an early start on our day. The staff was nice when we had questions. We loved our room, very spacious with blackout curtains. My one complaint was the comforter for our double bed was just two twin comforters. Otherwise we loved the hotel and even saw the northern lights from it!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Vellir. It’s not far from the Keflavik airport and you can get into the centre of Reykjavik by car. We were upgraded on arrival so had a room with windows along both sides which was a nice surprise. Our thoughts: - Room was stylish, comfortable and clean. - Towels were very small. - Blackout curtains in the room were great. - Breakfast was the same everyday (cold continental buffet plus DIY waffles). - Staff were generally helpful and friendly. Our added bonus was that we saw the Northern Lights from the hotel room one night!

Staff is amazing, specially Anna! We had a very nice and quiet room, beautiful and decorated, the shower is amazing, with good water pressure, comfortable bed. I will definitely get back to visit Iceland again, and stay in Hotel Vellir.

Akura worked at the front desk and was an absolute gem. She made our stay so comfortable. She was kind, helpful and went over and beyond to make sure we were happy. This hotel is 30 minutes from the airport and within a miles there were several restaurants options.
