The service and hospitality here is the same or better than some 5-star hotels. From the moment we arrived, the staff here were welcoming and very eager to help. After I booked online, Flower, their travel agent sent an email offering to help with transportation and tours. I booked almost everything ahead of time, though it's not necessary- there is a travel desk in the lobby, and she helped with transportation and tours, even for those down in Ho Chi Minh, our next destination. Flower was immediately responsive to any questions I had and was very attentive to detail. The travel agency doesn't run the tours themselves; they just book them, so the tour itself may be a hit or miss, depending on your guide. Advice- don't book back to back engagements, many of the tours we went on were delayed coming back by hours due to traffic. Other than that, the staff, both at the front lobby and down in the kitchen were very accommodating. The breakfast was good; you can order fresh cooked dishes such as pho or crepes from the menu in addition to a small but varied buffet spread. As for the accommodations themselves, small, but clean and comfortable. We had the first floor room by the lobby, which only had a narrow vertical window leading out to an alley so it was sometimes claustrophobic, but the rooms are clean and fine if you plan to spend most of the time out sightseeing. Location walkable to French & Old Quarters. Overall, responsive and accommodating staff made this stay amazing!
