We are happy to read you enjoyed our unique location in the historic heart of Old Town Heidelberg, directly opposite of one of our major landmarks, the Old Bridge and in close proximity to Europe's largest pedestrian area with many shops and restaurants. Due to this special location right in the middle of everything we do know that it can be noisy at times. Therefore all our rooms are equipped with special sound-proof windows. Furthermore 16 of our 39 rooms also do have air-condition which is normally not the case in a 3 star superior hotel. We are more than sorry to learn you found your bathroom dirty while checking into the room. As we take all customer comments, good or bad, very seriously I looked into the matter right away. Our front office clerk on duty that day confirmed the lack of cleaning, apologized to you and went up to the room right away to clean it. I also want to take the opportunity to deeply apologize for any inconveniences caused. Of course we had a serious talk to the head of housekeeping about it so this should not happen again. We are more than sorry you had problems taking a shower in our bathroom equipped with a bathtub. 30 of our 39 rooms do have a regular shower and 9 do have bathtubs.
