The pool was nasty, full of bugs and the water was stinky and hot. The lasy at the front dest was rude, when i asked if she knew the weather for tomorrow she said "i dont know and i dont care".

The staff was very nice, easy check in. Breakfast was good The pool was not clean, and they blocked off the stairs so you could only use the elevator at the busiest time at check out in the morning.

The building is aged and it is apparent it could use some renovation, but it was clean, well maintained and the staff was very friendly. All that said, for the price I just can't see the value in it other than the central location. There are others near by at half the price that are nearly as nice.

stay away from this hotel the first room they gave me I found a crack pipe in the bathroom and in the second room. The one they gave me was completely dirty and the bed was wet, definitely a bad experience for me and my wife.

Updates have been done on the important stuff. (Bedding, furniture, bathroom) Updates needed in general maintenance like painting most of the interior. Not complaining though! We were very happy with our 2 night stay. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with them overall. We probably interacted with 5 or 6 workers in our 2 night stay. Breakfast was a good variety. Waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereal, juices, breakfast breads, etc. Coffee was great, too!

The fridge didn’t keep the food cool it would cut off. I kept adjusting the temp it would come back on. The stay was great. Love the suite. The bedroom was private. I like that the bathroom was outside of the room for more privacy. Living room area had a signed which was great for my daughter and I brought extra covers and pillows. The suite worked out great for us

There were bugs in my suite. I informed the front desk who said they would send maintenance to spray but we realized the window in the room was broke so bugs continued to come into the room. My newborn was bit by something and cried all night. Terrible stay.

We loved out stay here. Absolutely great staff and super kind. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was typical but more than enough. Wouldn't of been a bad idea to mix up the breakfast sausage with a bacon every other day but that's ok, still was very good. The town of Helen was wonderful and the hotel was no further than 10 minute walk from anywhere in town.

Loss of money and not a 8 + hotel
We were just on an overnight trip and we walked in to reserve a room but even with a military they were higher than what hotels app had the prices for. So instead of getting just a basic room I got a room with a fireplace to just have the coziness of it and it did not work. Just a small flicker. We had the clerk come up and take a look and she said she was sorry and didn’t know what was wrong. I also told her the shower didn’t work and nothing was done. At checkout I spoke to a manager and she said we booked 3 rd party so she couldn’t help us. I paid a good bit more for a fireplace room and I didn’t get it. So I guess I won’t use hotels app anymore cause there is no one to help with issues when you are at the hotel.

Doesn’t seem like it’s been cleaned in awhile but otherwise was fine for a single night stay. Breakfast was kind of sucky because there was no fruit and the milk thing was empty or didn’t work.
