“Pure Bliss, this is an amazing location. The silence and nature is perfect just to get away from the hustle and bustle. The owner is also very welcoming making sure there is enough wood and making sure our stay was amazing. The Hot tub is amazing and overlooks the forest. So cosy and relaxing. Its also only 1.30min from Cape Town.”

“We stayed 3 nights in the Grootbos and spent an unforgettable time there. Everything was perfect. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The walks and the safari drive with the guide Tiaan were fantastic. Our cottage ( Nr.24 ) was great. The food was delicious. We hope really to come back soon. A big thank to the whole Grootbos Team for the wonderful stay.”

“Arrived in a rush to get the key & left for an event. Clean room and nice to find a welcome note, even after a late booking. Cabins are not very soundproof, which is understandable - however when neighbouring guests are having loud conversations at 3am, it is not ideal. Floors are also very cold, perhaps more mats can be provided.”

“These apartments are perfectly positioned within a short walk of Hermanus town centre with all f its charm and eating places. Very well equipped and in great condition, they are very comfortable.”

“Spettacolare appartamento su due piani con vista (parziale) sul mare, con ampio salotto, due camere da letto, due bagni e cucina. Arredamento nuovo anche se alcune finiture soprattutto nei bagni erano rovinate e maltenute (niente di che, ma stonava con tutto il resto). Buono il livello di pulizia anche se gli asciugamani erano vecchi e pochi (il secondo giorno non sono neanche stati sostituiti tutti).”
